My pleco stayed away from this the first day but by the second day I noticed he started checking it out. The third day he was all over it. I was worried about his water getting cloudy but it’s been 3 weeks and he’s on his second one. So far water looks clear.

Now that my plecos are larger. I use these to help feed. They still clean the tank and these make sure that they have enough to eat.

For whatever reason, my plecos were not as crazy over this as a food source as were my panda cories. That said, the food source I purchased for the coris was pretty much ignored by them - but perferred by my plecos. Go figure.

I did not see any of my fish, specifically my pleco, eat any of this and it only lasted about 2 days. I am unsure if it's my fish are picky or if it was undesirable to them.

I love these things just drop them in the water and your Paco will eat at their leisure and I have 24 inch female Picos of different species that live in the same tank and they each take turns eating off of it and last week or more depending on how much they eat.So these would be perfect for if you’re going on vacation and you won’t be around to feed your Petco’s for a while also I’ve noticed the fish the snails. Everybody takes a little bit of it so it might be good all the way around for everybody gotta check in that for you vacation people, but it’s great. I buy them all the time.
