Supco L290 Large Limit Switch Thermostat 60T11 Style 610025

My shop heater died. Upon inspection I found some partially melted wired leading to the limit switch. I had to do some internet research to figure it all out as I’m not an electrician or electronics expert. Rolled the dice and ordered this switch as it seemed interchangeable with the original. Replaced a few wires and hooked it up. Bam!! Works like new. Save me $$$ over taking somewhere (I have no ideas as to where) or just buying a new unit.

We replaced the limit switch #60T11 in a 50+ year old Rheem heater. We couldn't find the exact numbers, but we did see 60T11 on it. All the numbers didn't match exactly - this new switch has different temperature limits -- which are actually a little higher than the old one, and more efficient. Fits exactly - works great.

Matches old (failed / non working switch) in all respects that matter, form (same shape) , fit (holes align perfectly, terminals same size) and function (same setpoint)

Part fit perfect. Removed the old part connected the new one and it fixed the issue.

This is the correct thermostat for a 5,000 watt garage heater which runs off a 30 amp 220v circuit.
