Out of all of my purchases this year, this one has been the most valuable. I've been struggling to stay focused and consistently study for a state exam, and with the overwhelming amount of information, it’s been discouraging at times. This book, however, has struck the perfect balance in making the material interesting and is ideal for microlearning. I literally learned more on the first night of studying with this book than I did in the past three weeks combined.I also love practicing the yoga poses and actually feeling the muscles referenced in the book—it’s such a hands-on way to understand the content.

I love yoga and coloring, so why not this book. Learn at the same time. So interesting

I will be leading my first ever 200 hour YTT in a few months and I purchased this book to do myself and then see if I want to have my trainees buy it too. I am obsessed! It's well written and well-organized. I enjoy the humor and light-hearted writing and well thought out illustrations. I've learned so much through coloring - much more than I ever have through listening or reading (makes sense since I'm a kinesthetic learner). I know my trainees will benefit immensely from this book. I may just buy volume 2 when I'm done :)

I bought this as a different kind of anatomy review for class and it has been great. Not super detailed but very accurate origin and insertions. Plus, great tips for a yoga lover.

I like the book so far. I am not coloring in it but I wanted a guide to better understand what happens with your body when doing certain yoga poses.

Such a fun way to learn anatomy! It brought out my inner child and made the big words more manageable. The author made each explanation real conversational like she is sharing with a friend.If you are naturally creative then this is the book for you!

I really like this coloring book for yoga! It helps to learn the muscles a person is stretching, plus, it has added tips about the body which is nice! Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful, detailed, and informative coloring book. As a yogi, this book is more anatomy than yoga - I find it to be more teaching of anatomy using yoga. It still has great and valuable insights for yoga, don’t get me wrong! But the second yoga coloring book by this author, which is called The Yoga Anatomy Coloring Book Pose by Pose, is a very similar book with more emphasis on the yoga part. It goes more into detail on the asanas. From a yogi’s perspective, I would recommend both of these books! But if you’re looking for more focus than anatomy than yoga, this is the one!
