As a boater these connectors are great. One of the repairs I made about 2 years ago is still holding strong and no corrosion.They shrink up well and seal any moisture from getting in to the connection.Defiantly a cheap yet effective way to secure your wires. Better than any crimp type connectors for sure.

The color codes don't really follow typical butt connector sizes. In my opinion this would be an awesome system if instead of the solder, it just used a plain metal crimp butt connector to join the wires and then you would just slide this over it and shrink it. Only time will, but the extra glue seems like it worked great in a situation where you are connecting more than one wire on a side. I soldered all the smaller wires first and then shrunk these over it, and on larger wires I cut other style butt connectors apart for the metal crip part and then shrunk it over it.

Easy to use, no more wire nuts or crimping, simple heat gun and your done. I used these to replace coil pack clip pigtails on a 2012 Ford F150.

First use was nice, easy to use, sealed well. After 8 months several connector fails or began cracking when used in areas where UV would contact. Several used in enclosed area appear to be holding up well.
