Good water tight seal
Made rewiring a car door loom plug an easy and look to be a much more water tight seal than just shrink sleeves.

Tea lighter or cigarette lighter works
Amazing, why have I never tried these before. I used a tea lighter to melt the solder and it worked just fine

They work... when they work.
They're tricky little things to get right and require higher temperatures than you think.When they do melt correctly, they're brilliant and provide a strong, somewhat rigid structure holding your wires together.I've not tested the waterproofing aspects but even though I have no reason to doubt them, I'd be hard pressed to call anything with potential human error involved as "waterproof". More "Water resisting".

I have not yet had the chance to use these, I will update my review when I use them properly.The box arrived without damage. It's not the strongest case but if it survived the post it'll survive me. It appears well organised, with instructions, I can't wait to use them. I will upload a video when I do.
