Worked Flawlessly and they Provided great support!

I configured my own system with all of their parts using the magnet style lock, battery backup and scanner. I had a tricky install being that my door was metal and my frame was wood. I had a few questions during the install and I'm happy to say they answered them within about 8 hours (I'm assuming the delay was just the time difference). Once the lock was all installed and I loaded up the software it all worked flawlessly on the first try. I'm very happy with this system and their support. I'm planning on using this setup again in about 6 months in another gym. Thank you

I ordered this card access reader for my 24 hour tanning salon and it has worked exactly as it should. The customer service has been top notch any time I have had any questions or needed help with anything. Highly recommend especially for the price!

So far so good...

Installed 1/10/25 we will see how long this lasts and I will report back, I have doubts this will work long term. I haven't had any issues installing the hardware or navigating the software all that much, however the software seems clunky, inefficiently designed in fact, so there is a learning curve, and poor English translation. Luckily there is decent documentation they provide. However a lot of features are hidden it seems and are hard to find. It would be nice for the software to be open source, its not. I would not install this on any important buildings where security REALLY matters, for a shed or a garage? SURE. Also I have had to completely open the firewall to the program in order for it to communicate with the software internally even, this seems like a security risk in it self. There is also a Chinese server IP it communicates with, could this be for the app, or yeah security issue?? the app is terrible, and looks terrible. It works only if you are connected to your local network and it does a "self discovery" search, I have tried to enter the IP and SN of the product to find it in the app but its so badly designed it does nothing, so if it doesn't pick up the controller with the small "search" button you're out of luck. I have setup a VPN to the controller to attempt to open the door remotely using the app, it's possible that could work, but I have not finished trouble shooting it. It helps to have networking knowledge to get things to function here, you will have to do some dancing around the clunky software. I was impressed with the reader logic, I never got any miss or failed badge reads so that's a positive! bottom line, this seems to work great for a shed or basement or small building. If security really matters to you, you should go with an American made product, but of course that's expensive. If you just want to keep your local thug out on the weekends get this system.Update: I got the phone app to work remotely, you need to forward ports 60000 on your router to the door access controllers IP address. I setup a VPN on the phone and was able to VPN and open the door off of the internal network, so you are able to open the door remotely anywhere. I also setup a VPN on my laptop and I am able to VPN into my network and access the door controller from anywhere so that is great. Its still concerning to me that I need to add a firewall acceptation on my computer for the program and open the port through the router, I feel there is some security risk here..

Installed about 3 months ago and so far, it's solid.

I installed into an "old house" now used as an office building about 3 months ago and so far, it's solid. For entry, the user swipes their fob and the controller grants access by applying 12vdc to release the door latch. The user simply pushes the door to open.Overall, I would rate the project as "very challenging" due to the old house environment. Installing into a commercial building with mag locks would probably be a lot easier. The controller itself was easy to install and setup. The instructions were clear enough for me. I'm not using all the fancy access control features like time-based lock/unlock and reporting, etc. so I can't speak to those. However, running the low voltage wire from the controller to the doors and replacing the old latches with electronic latches was challenging, especially the electronic latch installation. Note, if you have deadbolts on your doors, they can't be used any longer if you want your users to be able to gain access around the clock...…therefore, your doors could likely be easily breached since the latch is the only thing securing the door. Since we need to have 7/24 access, we decided to lock the deadbolts on all but one door after normal business hours.I have 3 doors connected with RFID fob readers. I changed out the doorknobs for ones that are "storage room" types...from outside, they're always locked, from the inside they are always open. ( Schlage F80-PLY F-Series Plymouth Storeroom Door Knob) I installed electronic latches (Seco-Larm SD-991A-D1Q). Also, for security concerns, I installed the controller setup software onto a cheap standalone Windows minicomputer. Overall, I think I spent about $800-$900 on parts and materials. If there are any failures, I’ll try and post an update here. Good luck!
