Seriously Scent-Neutral!!! Yet Still Salon-Quality!
Unlike so many of the "unscented" products which actually reek, this shampoo (and it's matching conditioner) are the most completely scent-neutral I have come across. But nothing is sacrificed - it ranks right up there with the best salon shampoos I have tried. Like those, a little goes a long way (they are designed that way - you are only supposed to use a dollop, so the expense isn't as big as at first glance, because a little goes a long way). It cleans well. It doesn't react badly to my color. And (after shampoo and the conditioner) it leaves my hair soft, manageable and with plenty of volume. And my skin and my nose are happy happy happy! A+++++! Exactly what I have been searching for!!!

Works well and is safe for my allergies
I have contact allergies to all fragrance as well as cobalt, vitamin E and a few others so it is hard to find safe products that also perform well. This product is safe for me and it lathers well, cleans well, and leaves my hair in good condition rather than drying it out like most others that are "safe" for me.

ALMOST perfect, depending on your hair type
I tried this as a possible replacement for my favorite hypoallergenic shampoo (Alchemy Unscented Very Gentle Shampoo, made in Australia) which is no longer sold in the USA. Most fragrance free shampoos left my hair like straw; this one does not, but it does make the hair much softer. For someone with fine straight hair (like me) who cannot use any hair product other than a totally fragrance free shampoo and/or conditioner, this can be a bit of a problem; for someone with curly hair it's probably a godsend. :-) It tends to make my hair more flyaway which may be a worse problem in winter as the humidity drops. My current place has slightly hard water, and this shampoo definitely lathers better than the Australian product does in water of this type (the Alchemy shampoo worked beautifully in the soft water I used to have, and which hopefully my next house will also have!)I'm considering trying to blend a bit of both shampoos together when washing, to see if by doing that I can get the result that I'd prefer.Although this shampoo seems pricey, the last time I imported the same size bottle of Alchemy from Australlia it ended up costing about $35 between the cost of the shampoo, the shipping cost, and the currency conversion! This is almost as good, and much better than any of the other obtainable-in-USA brands that I tried and ended up throwing in the trash.

This product works great with my eczema.
For a fragrance free, everything free for sensitive skin like I have, it works perfect. It's the best product I have found for my hair and skin type. It leaves my hair soft and I also no longer have dandruff. But, most of all it has worked for my eczema. I can recommend this product.

Can't use it
Got this product because it appeared on a product safe list from my dermatologist. I was disappointed with it as a shampoo. It's a clarifying shampoo and leaves my hair very dry and it made my head itch. It's multipurpose, so I decided to use it as a facial cleanser until the single purpose facial cleanser I ordered came in. It leaves my face very soft and removes makeup nicely, but my forehead broke out after using it twice, something that never happened with my old cleanser. Looks like this is another product my husband will inherit. It's too expensive to throw out.

Love the Lather
I purchased this shampoo because it was on my short list of approved shampoos after I was found to be allergic to NA50 (Methyldibromo) and to fragrance. I also chose it because the reviews said it produced suds (which I once took for granted). I love this product, and so far my hair hasn't dried out. My head is no longer itchy, and the rash & bumps on the back of my neck have improved. None of the approved hair coloring products will cover gray, so I continue to have my hair dyed, although now with an ammonia free hair dye, and I cover my neck during the process. After trying many prescription ointments, I find the only thing that really helps the neck bumps and itching is calamine lotion, in case anyone is interested. Hopefully this shampoo will continue to work well, but if my hair dries out I will rotate it with another approved shampoo.

Expensive but works well
I have skin allergies and this product is listed as safe for me to use. It lathers and works well as a shampoo but is very expensive.

Drying
Very, very disappointed in this product. I have fragrance allergies, so this was one of the shampoos recommended as safe. However, it left my hair feeling like straw, even after the conditioner (which took about 5 pumps to cover fine, shoulder length hair). My freshly colored hair was dull, frizzy, and dried out. Rarely have I disliked a shampoo and conditioner this much. I couldn't even bring myself to try it a second time. I wish I could have returned it--such a waste of money.
