REVISED II: Good product, a little understanding goes a long way
Edit: So apparently i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. My previous reviews weren't factoring in the stresses of leverage induced by running a 25mm length cutter at the same brutal speeds and feeds as a 17mm bit. This basically means that there's a lot more leverage, which means a lot more stress from the same feeds and speeds that would not have an effect on a 17mm cutter. I've chucked these bits up to about the same length as the 17mm (around 18mm exposed instead of 26-27mm) in order to ensure longevity, testing is still ongoing. These are still worlds quieter than the two-bladed option, and if you do not want to irritate your neighbors, use these bits. Just slow it down if you are using these to replace a 17mm cutter and need the extra length, or chuck up the bit to the same lengths as your 17mm cutters. So after some testing with ye olde shapeoko, i'm revising my review. If you do light to medium CNC work on wood, these bits are amazing. They are dead silent to the point that you will not hear the bit over the router...initially. However, the lifespan isn't spectacular. In less than 20hrs i've gone through 5 of these bits, one was a crib death that didnt get through a single job. If they do survive, the life of the bit is drastically shorter than the 2-blade bits, despite not chattering, producing wood shavings instead of fine dust, etc. I'm at about the point of changing out a blade that i put in around 5 hours of continuous cutting ago, where on the two-blade, i'd probably be looking at 40h or more the way i burn the bits.Pros:+Dead silent at demanding feeds and speeds+Good initial performance+High Strength+Good finish+Produces chips instead of powder at demanding feeds and speeds+longer bit for better deep-cut performance and chip expulsionCONS:-Short life-crib deathsWill i get more of these? without a doubt. But the disappointment is that this will probably occur within the next week, where i'd still be on bit 1 or 2 of the 17mm two-blade.

Sharp Bits - Low Cost per Bit
At less than 2 dollars per bit you can not go wrong. Use these on my CNC, they work great!

for a import pretty good
I have a cnc router for wood. I've learned not to trust and use imported cutters. I was asked to try these 1/8" cutters out and ended up ordering a few. These might be the exception for import bits. They cut clean even in hardwood. Like any 1/8" cutter you need to watch your depth, but I've cut easily 1/8" depth cut with no issues. Worth trying for the price..

Cutting diameter is actually 1/8" not 2.86mm
Ordered these for Shapeoko because I needed end-mill just under 3mm. Seller lists cutter as 2.86mm, but it is actually 1/8" (3.175mm). Annoying but made it work. Rating 4 stars since they're cutting ABS and a little birch ply very nicely. Not carbide so we'll see how long they last.
