Works well, so much more comfortable
Edit: a few months in. I’ve been using these for a few months now. Things that are important:It took a while to find the perfect tension that it was comfortable. I wear it a lot looser than you would think and it stays in place and I mostly don’t feel it at all now.It keeps my oxygen levels stable even if my nose is stuffed up or I switch to mouth breathing. My oxygen levels are the same or a little higher than they were with the nose pokey kind.Combined with a concentrator humidifier makes this cannula “whistle” sometimes and it’s annoying. You can get it to stop by wiggling the nose piece and blocking the air outlet holes.I have to replace this every 3 weeks. The package says once a month but for me it gets stiff enough to be uncomfortable at 3 weeks (I have a very sensitive face due to some tumors.)I got ONE out of 6 that was uncomfortable. The seam at the middle of the lip flap part was sticking out and wasn’t comfortable. I had a nail buffer by my bed and buffed it gently and it was smooth and comfortable after about 30 seconds.I highly recommend this cannula if the normal kind causes you any kind of discomfort or if you regularly switch from mouth to nose breathing.OLD REVIEW:I’ve only been using this a day, but oh my gosh it is so much better than the kind that goes up your nose. I saw in other reviews that people use mole skin to make it more comfortable, but I am not experiencing any discomfort. My oxygen is about 2 points higher than it was with the in-nose one, so it’s working great.Edit: I’ve been using this for three weeks now and it is working great and so comfortable. If you have a sensitive nose I highly recommend it.I gave one to my friend to try and the faint hissing noise it makes bothered him. You can sometimes hear it, it is pure white noise. If white noise bothers you this might bother you too!Edit: when combined with a humidifier these sometimes make an annoying high pitched whistle. You can force it to stop by plugging up the holes to force what must be a small drop of water out.Otherwise I’ve been using these for 2 months and I love them! The directions say to replace them once a month, but I find it needs replaced at about 3 weeks because it gets stiff enough to be uncomfortable.

More comfortable than a regular cannula
After months of searching for a non pronged cannula I came across this one a month ago, quite by accident. Here are a few things I have learned. At first I was wearing it very snug against my face in an attempt to keep it in place. This led to discomfort from the hard plastic digging into my face. Now I wear it looser and it stays in place comfortably day and night. I just had to experiment with it to find my perfect fit.It delivers good oxygen support too. I took frequent O2 readings the first 10 days and my average percentage was the same or higher. I am a mouth breather especially when I am exerting myself. With this delivery system delivering oxygen to mouth as well as nose my O2 levels don't plummet. This keeps me more stable and allows me to safely do more.In my experimental period I did everything I could to keep my skin lubricated and healthy. It has been 3 weeks now and I am getting used to it enough that more and more I forget it is there. I NEVER forgot those prongs or the runny nose, bleeding nose, stuffed up nose. All in all a very miserable and painful nose. Do your nose a favor and at least try these.

Waste of my $10.00!
Waste if my $10.00!Thankfully I only bought one to try.Great idea for oxygen users on continuous oxygen. Most cannulas irritate your nose after a while. What makes this O2 tubing setup useless if you're using a portable oxygen concentrator (POC) is that using this device sets off the not breathing alarm since it DOES NOT work with an "on demand valve" for oxygen.●●●This NOT suitable for demand valve oxygen needs to be moved into the first paragraph of the description. ●●●This not suitable is stated on the packaging once you read the instructions on how to place the oxygen delivery piece near your nose/mouth.My "not breathing alarm" went off multiple times in less than 2 minutes of using this ozygen tubing.Worthless if you're trying to sleep.HOWEVER, this specific piece of information was buried in the FAQs (frequently asked questions) way far into the purchasing descriptions.****Can the cannula be used with demand valve oxygen systems?****No, this product is not suitable for oxygen supply systems with a demand valve.

Pretty good so far but needs a little improvement
It does work and like one reviewer mentioned, you have to turn up the LPM a bit since it isn't like the other that partly goes inside the nostrils. The main reason we got this for my senior dad is because he is prone to nosebleeds due to blood thinner meds. And even with the addition of the distilled water bottle to the O2 generator, any change in the temperature (weather related) causes almost uncontrollable bleeding when it rubs against the inside of the nostril close to the opening. Sorry for the long winded explanation but perhaps this might help people with the same situation make an informed decision that are contemplating on using this product. The only improvement I would suggest it to perhaps design the back part that presses against the upper lip to include a lining of silicone as that is the only complaint my father has in that after a while it hurts a bit not to much but just enough to annoy him. Unfortunately, the pros outweigh the con in this case so he still opted to use it.

Comfort
If you are using the canula that sticks two probs in your nose you need to switch to this one. The same oxygen level is maintained and the comfort is unbelievable. I would never go back to the previous style.

Less drying than a regular cannula.
Works good and without those prongs stuck in your nose drying it out.
