ダイヤルゲージの保護カバーが、イマイチどころか何だか使いずらい。そして、ケースに収納するとき、このカバーを必ず外さないと収納出来ない焦ったさ。。あと、ローラーが転がり悪く回らない、、ただ、ミツトヨのゲージと両方測って試した結果、まあまあ誤差無いかな？’っていう感じで使えています。

My sunning dial bore gauge is being repaired, but I need an economical way to do some Honda cylinders. Tool worked great, nice storage box, and very reasonable price! Would be a great bore gauge for the average home engine builder.

Verified accuracy against a starret and a Mitutoyo Dial indicators. Used a Mitutoyo magnetic base and it was very accurate. We will see long term.

The device came reasonably well packaged and upon connecting power to it, powered up and provided the listed inch and metric measurements. I used it out of the box to calibrate my Ender 3 3D printer axes and the indicator (along with a sturdy stand purchased separately) was able to get the job done well. With that being said, I'm disappointed this is advertised as RS232 when it requires additional hardware to read the data even though it has an onboard USB connector.I mainly purchased this indicator to make use of it's RS232 communication of the measurements, after doing some research I discovered this does not actually output the measurements via a serial connection, but allows you to access raw data from an RS232 like connection (does not open its own COM port on a PC, just spits out Data and a Clock signal on the USB D+ and D- pins.) Despite that, I was able to sacrifice a micro USB cable to connect it to an Arduino Uno (I imagine any microcontroller would work). After using some software from github flashed on the Arduino (google "dialIndicatorToSerial") I was delighted to see the measurements over the serial monitor so I can now move on with my project.
