A great effect pedal
This Electro Harmonix Micro Tron Q produces some great sounds. 3 knobs: mode, Q, and drive. I love the perpetual wah wah sound. Dial in your pleasure and have fun.

Guitar players, this will make you sound better
This is an easy to use, nice sounding envelope filter that I've put a ton of playing time into. Envelope filters give you that bluesy twangy-pop sound. A lot of guitar players start out with a distortion pedal, but I think this envelope filter is a much better first option. Plug this thing in and you'll be sounding like Hendrix in no time.

Great pedal that delivers a very specific "quack/wah" sound effect
Great pedal that delivers a very specific "quack/wah" sound effect. Great sound for funk, jam, jazz and rock. Watch the demos on Youtube to hear it for yourself. If that's the effect you want, then this is the pedal for you. There is a slight volume increase when using the pedal, but I run a compressor at the end of my chain which helps keep everything in check.

Funky and versatile
I use the pedal on my bass, my lap steel and my Strat. It boosts your signal a little.I like to use it with an octave pedal for a synthy sound.

Good quality, great effect.
Great effect....limited controls compared to big brother, but tuned perfectly for guitar, so works great. I use this in combination with the Octave Multiplexer for killer synth like bass lines from guitar.

Great Pedal That Lasted Only Four Months
I really loved the 15 gigs or so I played with this pedal. You can really get some funky wah sounds out of it, although it takes a bit of fooling around with it to get the right sound. Also, you've got to be willing to make a few adjustments when you change guitars (go from single coil to humbuckers, etc.)The outer case is strong and the pedal feels solid, but after just four months the pedal died on me. It just stopped working. I've got a board full of pedals, many of which I bought used and have for years and even decades, and they've all held steady. I expected better reliability from EH.
