Grokking Algorithms, Second Edition 2nd Edition

The information was great for a beginner level.

Perfect for a beginner or refresh before FAANG.

I’ve been a developer for 12 years and while I have a solid understanding of what I’m doing I didn’t really have much knowledge when it came to algorithms. I’ve always read about questions that FANG companies ask and a lot seemed to be around algorithms. So I decided it was time to get a good understanding of the many types of algorithms there are. I’m about half way through the book but it’s really opened my eyes and realize I could have done things more efficiently if I just knew about these earlier.Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get a better understanding of algorithms.

A good basic introduction with drawings to explain the information. Wish it was more expansive with additional topics.

Awesome book to learn the intuition of algorithmic thinking

I’m a mechanical engineer by training and this book helped me understand key concepts in CS. It’s written for those people who aren’t software engineers. I highly recommend it to anyone without CS training but wanting to learn key concepts.

It's like reading your favorite novel and you already learned 4 concepts in two hours. Aditya- you are an inspiration. Thank you so much for writing this book. You motivate me to read more books rather than wasting time on Youtube.

As someone with ADHD it is incredibly difficult for me to pay attention and focus.. when reading books, this book as perfect for me as it has ample amount of visualizations and accessible explainations that can hold my attention. Can't believe I finished reading this book just over two weekends, this was truly a record for me! Thanks Adit for this amazing book!
