Rock solid
I was going to buy the plastic Wolfcraft version, but thankfully Amazon alerted me to this metal one before I pushed the button (thanks!) I'm very happy with it. Lots of adjustment possible with just two Allen keys, which are supplied. Once things are tightened up it's all solid as a rock, even without using the optional screw holes to affix it to the bench.Giving this item a 1 star review purely because you didn't read the description is pretty shameful and misleading. It quite clearly states in the description in several places which size and type of drill it's meant for.10 out of 10 (considering the price)!

Will not hold drill up
1. The hole not big enough. 2. The bolt when tightened is not able to hold drill in place, just badly made. I have a plastic one that is so much better. Wanted a metal one for heavier drill. Instead using metal one for dremel type drill a d plastic for heavier drill.

Excellent design but poor construction
The clamp's design is excellent, giving a wide range of adjustments. However its construction does not match that quality and settings are likely to drift significantly in use. In my case the worst is horizontal alignment. Two opposing, misaligned surfaces come into contact during clamping before clamping is complete. The drill then gradually sags downwards during use. I have to insert a metal wedge to prevent sag. Other settings are liable to drift in use if any but the lightest force is used.Overall, fine for light use but otherwise requires constant fiddling.

Nice idea but……collar too small for adjustable drills
Nice solid multi positioning little tool. However does not work with variable speed / function drills. The collar doesn’t open wide enough. It needs to be a very basic drill.I’d also be concerned that the clamp is a touch lightweight to stay fixed for long.
