Does what it says it will do.
Well, that one is certainly bright, no arguing with that one.Got one for me and partner, she has used her every day since we got them, and still hasn't had to charge it yet, so yeah, not bad battery life at all for the price. She loves the face it can clip to her base ball hat and keep her hands freeFrom my point of view, it is a handy tool for the car, takes up so little space and the magnet will stick to the bonnet and light the whole engine up.Even useable in the home if there is a power cut, very bright, but can be toned down to less is needed.

Excellent customer service
Update 4/8/24- The flickering I mentioned in my first review looks to have been a symptom of what has turned out to be a terminal condition and nothing now works. A pity as I really liked this light.5/8/24- Further update. Contacted customer services and a replacement light is to be dispatched. 4 star rating to remain in place for now until this progresses.10/8/24 Replacement has been received and has non of the minor quality control issues of the original I alluded to in my initial review. Very happy to upgrade to 5 stars for this reason plus the excellent customer service I received.Original review below:I liked the form of the “three eyed monster” style of lights and found there are a number to choose from. A lot of the cheaper ones appear to have plastic casings, though this is not immediately apparent. The X23 is a good solidly constructed metal item that weighs in at around 100g ( approx 3.5oz) including battery. I saw mixed luminosity claims for this in various sites online although in brightness the X23 is comparable to lights I have in around the 1000 lumen range on turbo so quite bright for everyday use. In the hand this light feels reassuringly chunky so makes it an ideal stress toy. One press starts the light at high and subsequent presses to go to medium and low. I found a double click activated the super bright or turbo mode in any level. Hold down on the button to activate strobe even from off. I like the magnetic base and there is a hole in the clip to attach a lanyard if required. It is not lightweight when worn on a hat and there are lighter weight solutions out there but it works. I find there is a faint flicker in the beam and the on/off switch has been occasionally fickle and does not turn on, though this is infrequent enough to cause no real bother. The top spring has cut into the positive terminal of the battery so I wonder if this could be the source of the flickering? Power longevity is pretty good for such small 18350 1200mah battery . At the time of writing should anyone require a back up battery I saw replacement Alonefire batteries on offer on Temu for £3 with free delivery. From my normal (and reputable) supplier 18350's are still only £4.50.! For the whole package I paid £15.03p from Amazon UK ( Amazon EU costs £3 more so beware) and am very happy with the value I got for money. But for the slight quality issues I would have rated this at 5 stars. This is my second Alonefire product and I am liking them. Unlike a lot of Chinese manufactures they do not seem to overstate their specifications and this is very refreshing; almost worthy of trust! If they can up their quality level slightly they will be up there with the Wurkkos and Sofirns of this world.
