25 Litre Fermentation Vessel/Bucket/Bin with tap + airlock

The food grade buckets were adequate for a first time brewer.I was able to use them without any instructions.

The bucket has a better tap and lid than the ones shown (tap has a level and fits inside a standard beer bottle for easy filling and the lid is the more modern click/flap lock type).It did take me a short while to get the tap to seal so that it wouldn't leak (lucky I tested it with water before filling with beer!); the instructions say to use some petroleum jelly (vaseline) to seal the thread but this didn't work for me so I used some sanitary silicone on the outside flange around the rubber washer. Still feels a bit of a bodge but it works, it's cheap and it comes with all the bits you need to get brewing.

Plastic rather thin compared to other fermentation bins I have bought for less money. Apart from the tap, this is an ordinary bin that you can get more or less free of charge from your friendly neighbourhood whole food shop

Great bucket!

I followed instructions and set up my five gallons of wine to ferment.1. The lid didn't fit properly2. After five days the seal round the bung hole and tap failed and Ialmost lost five gallolns of fermenting wine.Fortunately I was there to stop the flood and decanted quickly into five one gallon glass jars.

excellent price for a bucket of its size and with a airlock and tab built in what more could you ask for?

As expected. Quick deliveryGood seal with a bit of vasaline as directed. Brewed some very nice beer.
