Well worth it
Great sound. But definitely over powers the 12 speakers i have hooked up. But love being able to adjust volume in different areas as I need to. Well worth the money. May just have to upgrade all my speakers.

A Powerful Pre-Amp with a Reasonable Price!
I like the HDMI ARC feature that came with the unit. The sound is perfect! I use this unit with my LG TV. I may buy another one as a pre-amplifier for my power amplifier. With the remote control, I can connect to my 80's amplifier and then sit back, enjoy the music from different devices!

Nice, compact, connects 4 speakers and Bluetooth connection to TV. Great for the back patio.
Does exactly what I need it to do. Great for me for the back patio. Bluetooth works great. This was the best option I could find with 4 channels for speakers and Bluetooth to connect to the TV. Fm antenna doesn't pick up well and FM stations aren't easy to navigate but ill rarely use FM radio so that isn't a problem for me.

Well less than a year later and the blutooth is out. Will not pair or is even visible. Tried to contact the company vis the link provided by Amazon and it makes yoi fill out a long form including uploading a receipt which I did...everytime I tried it says there is an error and to fix it..the error being that it wouldn't take the reciept...scam

Surprising
I am not an audiophile but have some experience with home sound entertainment systems. I purchased this receiver on Amazon for less than $200 last month and am pleasantly surprised by it. It has 5 channels, two active subwoofer connections, one passive subwoofer connection, 200W per channel, a good FM radio receiver, Bluetooth capability, USB port for playing music files, and more. I have an older, 5.1 stereo receiver, purchased over ten years ago, that costs three times as much but doesn't have some of the features of this receiver. BUT, my older receiver still works well and sounds good; I hope this Pyle receiver lasts as long.I am using this Pyle receiver in another room with the lowest priced, fully automatic turntable that I could purchase on Amazon, a $30 dvd/cd rom player, and some old Energy speakers, so my wife can play her old Reader's Digest collections of records and our old music CDs. The sound quality is great and if one of the components in the system stops working, it can be easily and cheaply replaced; unlike the all-in-one music centers that can do ten things, none of it well, and not for very long.

Really wanted to like this but it missed the mark
I really wanted to like this receiver. It looked great, sounded good and liked the Bluetooth connection. But I bought this for my home theater and it failed. The optical audio connection drops the signal on low sounds.I tried this with two separate units connected to two different TV sources. Even tried multiple optical cables. Sound kept dropping in and out on quiet scenes. Tried an optical to rca convertor, but then the sound would only go up or down on the unit, no remote control. Then I tried the HDMI route. Unfortunatly to get any signal to the tv, the Pyle receiver needs to be on. There is no pass through. Reciever off-no signal. But, I had sound, even low sounds this time. But, when I went to a 4k signal, the Pyle unit wasn't passing through the siganl at 4k. So good sound, ok picture. So, I boxed this up a second time and returned it.

Good for the price.
This was definitely an upgrade from the best Box Store amplifier I had. It's driving an outdoor Ancient pair of Bose 501s and some Polk Audio Atrium6 s. It is able to receive Bluetooth signals no problem from my PC which is like 15 ft away inside the house. But what I don't like is I decided to get banana clips for audio connections because I use the stereo outside but I do not keep it out there all the time. So the banana clips to me I would have thought would be easier to use than just sticking the wires through the back. I apparently have to jiggle the wires and get them just right to make it work it's kind of annoying. I just thought I could slip the banana clips right in and it would be good to go but certain some channels apparently are losing the connection. However power-wise it's definitely decent. I do not regret the purchase at all. But the banana clip thing. Maybe there's a trick to the banana clips that I don't know. So I would not say super durable. But if you're just leave it in the same place kind of person I would not have any fear. And I would say it has power to drive speakers even larger than what I'm using.
