HOSY 10 Count Lantern with 11' White Wire String Lights, 12" Spacing Plug-in Lantern String Lights (Red)

The lights come in a sturdy box. The lanterns need to be assembled but once I realized the concept was to give the lanterns shape and keep the paper and bulbs separated, they went together fast and easily. They’ve very pretty and are perfect for decor during this time.

Not hard to assemble. A little lighter color than pictured but overall I love them.

Had a small short in one of the packages I bought so the lights would turn on and off every few minutes. I was able to adjust the wires at the lead light and now it appears to be fine

I had the worst luck with TWO sets of the multicolored lantern string lights. Both times, I plugged in the string lights to make sure they worked (and they did), then I carefully put the white frames on the bulbs and then the assembled the lanterns onto the frames. (The video was very helpful). Then, both times, after hanging up the string lights, they would not illuminate when plugged in! I took down both sets and tried plugging them into five different working outlets in different rooms in our home and two different working/tested extension cords---but both were kaput! My experience was that each string light only lit up ONCE, during the first test, and never again. What the heck? How could this happen two times? I am super bummed since the colorful lanterns are fun and adorable!

Several of the colors have faded in the sun and now look white.

I love these lantern lights. The set up was pretty easy and the lantern shades seem to be very durable,, almost cotton-like. I’ve had lantern lights in the past, but they’re usually made of paper and tear easily. These are great for longer term use and look nice as well. I’m using these in my semi-finished basement. They’ve held u- pretty well so far. No major issues and they look great on the wall.

BLUF: Good price point for atmospheric lighting. Main issue is that the plug is so close to the first light on the string that you will want an extension cord.Easy to assemble, comes with a few extra light bulbs which is nice, no defects out of the box. However, the main issue is that the plug is very close to the first lantern on the string. In other words, i you plug this in as is, about a third of your lights will be close to the floor. I wish there was an extended part of the cord from the plug to where the lanterns actually were so when you string it up without having a bunch of them near the ground outlet. [I added a picture and you can see how close the lanterns are too the outlet]. An extension cord fixes this, though, and overall this is a very minor issue.
