Excellent!
Our 4 yo granddaughter love, love, loves this book. Her mother is an opera singer, but we think she mostly loves the control of pushing the buttons to hear music. Her dad read it to her Montessori class on parents’ day and the other kids loved it too. The teachers loved it as well and plan to get a copy for the class. Highly recommend!

Fantastic
I git my son the Welcome to Jazz and Classical books when he was about 3. They were his favorite for about 2 years. We’re not usually fans of toys that make noise, but these were pleasant for everyone. He recently found them on his bookshelf and got into them all over again. Because of his new interest in the books, I checked amazon to see if there were any more in the series and was so happy to find this one! My son is 7 now and he’s read this book at least 50 times in the past 4 days. And that’s not counting the few hundred times he’s sung it! I think this one might be the best in the series! The quality of the music is great (just like the previous 2), but since the magic flute is a narrative, the format of a picture book works especially well. The illustrations are really fun too. Given that the other 2 books still work 4 years later, I’m hoping the quality of this one is solid too!

Fantastic!
I have bought the other books about jazz and the orchestra, and I have loved all three of them. They are wonderful explanations about the structure of the musical genre they are explaining with words and wonderful accompanying musical snippets. My seven-year-old daughter understands opera as this was a solid introduction to that often misunderstood musicalgenre. Thank you for creating something special!

Perfect for kids of all ages
I am an opera singer and I read this to my son's third grade class to teach them about opera and the Magic Flute. It was a huge hit. I highly recommend this book.

Nice book
It's a nice book to introduce toddlers to opera. I wish the musical examples were longer, but maybe that's not possible. It's hard to tell the difference between the trio and the quintet, because with the slight sound distortion that's bound to happen, you can't hear all the voices very well. But, I'm still happy with it and my boys love it.

Does not work
The book would not play. I guess the batteries are dead. Haven't had time to get batteries to see if it works. Disappointed. It was a gift for my granddaughter.
