Dr. Daniel Amen is a very smart man using good research.
All of Dr. Amen's books are good, science based, effective, and there is a lot of useful information in each books. Not every book may appeal to every person but he is rightfully enthusiastic. I have used his consulting for some of my patients and was pleased with the information and supporting books which were very helpful for me and for those who came to me for help. Some are more readable than others, and all are encouraging and very well-researched.

Lots of valuable information.
Dr. Amen is a pioneer, and I actually paid to have his SPECT exam in his Scottsdale, AZ location. It was worth the price to see the damage caused by a blow to my prefrontal cortex when I was five years old. My brain rerouted my comprehension and maybe was a good thing since at 76 yrs of age, I have had two brain MRIs and both put me in the top 10% of really functioning brains. A must read.

I'm using it!
I have been trying to live a healthier lifestyle for longer than I care to admit- not very successfully. This reframing of a healthy lifestyle is just what I needed for motivation. As a nurse I see the impact of poor brain health every day, and those who life this lifestyle truly do seem younger, so why not?I find this very palatable, and it takes only minutes per day. I have a pack of post its and a pen, and each day I slap in my sticky note and write my exercise for the day on there. I have made some small changes already with hydration, exercises and supplementation. It's a great fresh take on the same advice broken down in to simple daily readings and exercises. I'd buy this book again.

A Life-Changing Journey for Your Brain and Well-being
As a long-time follower of Dr. Amen, I eagerly awaited the release of this book; which has exceeded my expectations and has genuinely had a profound impact on my life. In this insightful read, Dr. Amen shares the knowledge he has gained from over 40 years of clinical practice and research in a way that is accessible and easy to understand. The examples provided from his experience with hundreds of thousands of brain scans give the book a solid foundation in science, while still being relatable and engaging. One of the aspects I appreciate most about "Change Your Brain Every Day" is the format. Dr. Amen has broken the book down into daily habits and practices that can be easily incorporated into your life. This approach makes it simple to digest the wealth of information provided and implement the strategies in a practical manner. The book truly embodies the notion of changing your life "one tiny step at a time."Since incorporating the daily habits and practices outlined in this book, I've already noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being, memory, and mental clarity.Thank you, Dr. Amen!

Practical every day steps and cases supporting better brain health & wellness
It takes time to change daily habits and behaviors and build new healthy ones. The daily practices offered are valuable supporting a process of change. It’s exciting and motivating to see this framework. Dr Amen is very clear and understandable when describing conditions and diagnoses from ADHD / ADD, Anxiety, distinguishing Dementia from Depression, Addiction, Substance Use, Bipolar Disorder and others. This is a strong resource for putting strategies into practice and good use of interesting cases. The clinical scientific citations are a good extension for further reading, learning, and exploration.I find Dr Daniel Amen’s call to action with daily steps so helpful to stay on target. I can do one of Today’s Practice steps every day! I highly recommend this book. It reduces shame and stigma from mental health which is brain health. It is valuable for clinicians, coaches, clients, and families. I’m looking forward to sharing this with more colleagues, friends, family and clients.

Who doesn't want better brain health
We worry about our skin getting too much sun but how often do we think about our brain health. This book was amazing! I was able to apply small daily changes to improve my brain health. The topics in this book are logical but most of us probably don't think about them. How many of us pump fuel every week and stand there breathing the fumes??

Ok to Good but I got Kindle version of this instead.
First the font was no good for me so I returned and got Kindle Version. Second Maybe about 25% so far I can use per my book marks. The rest is a lot of staging, framing and a little posturing. Nothing wrong with that, but since I am already sold on subject it becomes repetitive. (this does NOT mean I am a wizard at practicing the subject btw lol). Anyhow some good points but I am at place in my life where I need the punch line, more often, not teased for later. I have another of his books that I like better so I do not have a axe to grind here, this one just is not cutting it so far at Half way, but I am soldiering on. Maybe its the whole day format thing?
