Tracer
Many decades ago in the 60's and early 70's I used one of these tracers and they used a simplebulb and worked great. After many years it stopped working and never saw another one like ituntil now . It is designed a little different but works identical as they use toThey recommend a specific bulb and when using that bulb this tracer works flawlessly and is verybright and clear .I have a larger projector but using it can be difficult because it is largeThis Tracer is easy to use and can be used just about anywhere .If it lasts as long as the old one I had decades ago, it is worth every pennyIf I remember correct the one years ago was bought for about $10 dollars and that seemedlike a lot back then compared to todays pricesRecommend this tracing projector for any artist and for any craft work

Projector for Drawing.
I loved this. Just be careful it does heat up to the touch after an hour or two which I thought was odd. Give yourself a break from drawing if that’s the case, turn off the machine, then come back to use for later. Don’t know if that’s a safety issue yet but that’s what I do. However, this is still a decent item to help you learn how to be a better artist. Another thing I wish was the “mouth” or the opening in the bottom where it goes on top of the picture you want to work on, wish it was bigger too. You do find yourself moving around the projector every time unfortunately.

DO NOT BE SCAMMED WITH THIS RUBBISH
This is a complete waste of money. It doesn't work at all. At first I thought I needed to shut the window blinds and make it more dark. Nope, that wasn't it. The image is blurry and when you go to pull out the lens, it can get really lose and even fall off. Re-threading it is next to impossible. I almost couldn't get it back on. Then there is the lens on the underside. Really? You have to move your image from the bottom in tiny movements. Now you might be thinking, but the product description said this. Yes and no. The actually size of the opening is ludicrous. The tiny increment movements only to have to bring it into focus time and time is ridiculous. Try teaching 30 antsy elementary students while you try to bring this thing into focus several times in one class period. Just forego it, and do your drawings on your white board or chalkboard. Another thing: it is super lightweight and cheap. And you will be hard-pressed to find the proper lightbulb. Like, go to at least 4 different stores to find one that a) will fit, b) produce the right amount of light (no amount is enough with this piece of rubbish), and c) needs to be LED. Once you have chased all over the city for the correct lightbulb, you will go to use it, and find that it is a scam. I'd return it in a second (hey, I thought there was a 1-year warranty), but apparently the seller took the Return option down. Unbelievable!

Works okay after spending $12 for a brighter LED bulb
I read the reviews and knew that this unit had some issues. I was hoping that a bright bulb would really help... it did a bit. It is hard to get a good focus on anything that does not have great contrast and clarity. A coloring book image would probably work well. A photograph, not so much.I was an art teacher for years and had a big opaque projector that was wonderful. I often wonder what ever happened to it. I have been unable to find one that worked as well.

Does not do enough for the price, not enough functions. Have to have room almost totality dark to ,to see picture. Once again price is too high. I ordered a Caydo P1 art projector that has many more functions for only $23.00 more . Will be sanding Autograph back.
