Did the job (in conjuctioin with a right angled one) so I could put my toilet in the corner. One builder I had for a quote said that it was a bad idea to install a corner toilet as the bends with block up. It's still working fine now for some several years and if it does block up I know how to remove the toilet and waste pipe to unblock it.

The De Facto Standard in Pipe Fittings
McAlpine WC-CON8F18 90 Degree Flexible WC ConnectorWherever possible I prefer McAlpine over other pipe fittings, primarily for two good reasons. Build quality and for the confidence of knowing that they just work, and that’s worth paying a bit extra. For example, not all pipes are created equally, push fit and solvent weld of the same stated diameter are in fact slightly different in size, if you need to join them a McAlpine coupler always does the job whereas a cheaper fitting may or may not. I fitted this in a tight space and had to be spot on with the length, the length in the product description of 170-250mm is somewhat ambiguous. Check the McAlpine web site, you can find detailed technical drawings for all their products that should tell you all you need to know. In this case the flex length range(straight line distance) is 190-270mm from the centre line or middle of the WC inlet to the first fin on the soil pipe side, take 20mm off that to push the connector fully home soil side and you have your 170-250mm stated length. Needless to say, all went well with no issues other than the awkwardness off the working space.

Perfect if wanting to slightly reposition toilet.
After decorating our downstairs bathroom, I wanted to install the new toilet slightly further away from the wall than the old toilet. The waste pipe is in the floor and fixed.I wasn’t sure before buying this connector which direction it would bend in. It turns out it bends as much side to side as it does front to back. It bent sufficiently to the correct height for connecting, allowing me to move the toilet 12-13 cm along. It’s just what I needed, and it is working perfectly since. For the record, the longer version of this connector (WC-CON8F) will also bend to correct height, but would have moved the toilet approx 22cm along.I hope this information is of help.

Top Quality ..... But Be Careful
The build quality on this is noticeably better than one I finished with, but watch out for the dimensions. For me (!) it wasn't 100% clear what they referred to - over all length; length to centres; the expandable element? I relied on the adjustment to give me a bit wriggle room, but as the job worked out it wasn't enough. Stuck mid-job I'd no option but to use a much cheaper product from a local store and, whilst it looked cheaper, it's done the job perfectly well with no sealing issues. 5 Stars, but the design means it's not something you can shorten or push home further if you do get it wrong.
