This lamp is great. The shade is richly colored and well put together. I was afraid the light it put out would be green tinged, but with a normal bulb in; it was soft white and good brightness . The yoshi pull cord was super cute and nicely heavy making it feel like it was a decent quality . A great choice for a yoshi fan.

I ordered this for my grandson’s birthday. It arrived in a crushed box and the lamp was damaged, the shade was crushed. It appears the box was damaged prior to being shipped as the damaged part of the box was taped together with the original mailing label affixed on top of the tape. This plastic lamp is not worth the $50 price tag, however my grandson really wanted it for his new bedroom. So, I requested a replacement. To my disappointment the replacement was not shipped out immediately; the replacement was not sent until I was able to get the the UPS store to return the damaged product. This was a few days after I received the damaged lamp. The new lamp arrived today, no visible damage to the box, so I wrapped it and took it to my grandson. When he opened it, to,everyone’s disappointment, this new lamp was defective! The Yoshi figurine which should be attached to the chain to operate the lamp, was not attached. And there is no way to reattach this!

The item was as described. Shipping was on time. I think my husband is going to like this lamp.

My kiddo is Nintendo crazy and a huge fan of Super Mario Bros. We have had this lamp for a while now with no issues. The little pull chain is the icing on the cake. Too cute.

First the good - this lamp is very cute! Came packaged well and the little Yoshi figurine on the pull chain is adorable. My toddler is very interested in pulling him off and playing with him, so we have to keep the lamp up high!Now for what I don't like - it is a bit pricey for what it is. The plastic is a bit thin and doesn't seem sturdy. There is a part under the stand that has already fallen out when I went to put in the light bulb. It fell out so easily I'm not even 100% sure that it wasn't supposed to come off in the first place. It makes me a bit nervous about the longevity of our Yoshi pull. There is no other way to turn on and off the light (unless you have a wall switch) so with regular use I don't know if he will stay on.Otherwise it is a very cute lamp and your child will love it. Just keep it in a low traffic area and don't mess with it too much.
