Know how to program this unit
It’s a good unit but difficult to understand some of the terminology used, best advice I can give is to watch reviews and programming tips on YouTube as it helps a lot.

I'm a DJ of sorts, this is good for my lighting
More DMX out puts would be nice, all in all a good DMX controller, works well with my DJ lighting, yes easy to use plug and play

Simply non-functional. Returned.
Take my advice. Buy something with an actual brand name attached. That way, if you have any problems, you have someone to ask and to hold to account. This is a cheap item for a reason; there is a high chance it will not work, and when it doesn't there will be no-one to help you fix it. Read on for my experience and why I returned it.I tried using this controller with a single LED bar, the simplest possible setup. A few seconds after powering on, the bar would turn pure white and stop responding to my input. I asked everyone I could find what might be the cause of the problem and no-one had ever seen anything like it before. It took some experimentation but eventually I found this controller to be the source of the problem. As soon as I replaced it with another one, the problem went away.

Great product despite major electrical fault
I purchased this for an event, upon testing it initially it worked but the power lead was somewhat temperamental, I didn't have time to send it back and wait for a return due to the date of the event. The day before the event I tried it again and the unit would not power on at all and I had no chance but take it to an emergency repair technician who unveiled something quite alarming. On the incoming power supply, one connection wasn't even soldered to the circuit board. Although this was a relatively quick job to rectify, It put me more out of pocket for such a fundamental part of manufacture. This shouldn't have passed quality control at the factory, and I urge anyone else to get thier unit checked as this could cause a serious issue if left unattended.

Great for a small setup
Instructions a little difficult to use at first but it is a great controller for the money. I'm still getting to grips with the full functionality but even basic sequences worked great for me
