This is a great bit and SHARP! I've never had a bit this sharp. This one bit me, twice while putting it in the collet. Definitely my fault. I was treating it like all the other bits I've used over the years. It reminded me I was getting complacent when handling my endmills. This thing makes clean cuts and leaves a perfect smooth and flat carving. I have no idea how long it will last, but I'm adding more to my cart to have them on hand.

Perfect cutter for my router when I needed that extra 1" of length to cut into a thicker wood. It cuts well, been using it for a couple weeks.

Spiral bit is a game changer, cut though like butter! take your time though, due to length, bit could snap.

I needed a long reach bit to use in a plunge router mortising jig. I've made several cuts in cherry, with very good results. Haven't yet tried in harder woods, such a maple, but I'm expecting it to work well then also. Just need to be cautious, of course, on how much material is being removed on each pass.
