Good little device
We bought this to watch HD German satellite TV, as the main senders have stopped SD transmissions. Available programmes were quickly loaded, and while the instructions on deleting and sorting channels were very basic, once I worked out what to do, deleting and reordering channels was quite quick and easy. The picture is very good. We haven't tried the recording function.Two very minor drawbacks. The unit is very light, so can be difficult to keep where you want it, and the clock loses time quite quickly, though puts itself right once the set is turned on.Overall, a good unit at a excellent price.

Free to air box
Easy to set up loads of free to air channels I would recommend it

Not great
Not easy to use. Only gives the next programme on the menu. Too many channels the same. And most of them Irish. I don't know how to get my channels in the right order and the instruction leaflet is no help. Unless you are a professional techno mind don't bother with this. I give up and I'm buying a different one. This one is going in the bin. Waste of money

Good for Free Satellite - but it’s NOT a Freesat Box
It does exact what it’s supposed to.The Freesat Logo is misleading. It will give all Free to Air Channels, but it is NOT a Freesat receiver. Freesat receivers require the manufacturer to pay a fee to use the software. So you will get BCC 1, ITV 4, Dave etc -but they will be in a random order. Cause they ain’t paid for the Freesat licenceI used these for British Free to Air, German Free to Air, Italian etc.Pictures are fine, scart is there for older TVsIt’s good value for moneyThe remote is a bit pants & you have to be really quick to punch in the three digit channel numbers.Good product, but if you want BBC 1 on 101, BBC News on 200, Channel 4 on 104, you’ll need a dearer Freesat receiver

its OK a bit of a bother to sort the channels out and the satellite. to record you use a memory stick . record works OK. but we could never get a recording when using the timer. so its a bit of a no no in that respect. for just looking at the basic channels its OK. sticking to my satellite sky for main TV watching its a lot better. for the price its OK
