I've used this sous vide stick now to make a fabulous beef fillet, a rack of lamb, fish, and also to pasteurise eggs. I'm very pleased with the results. It's a long cook, but it's set-and-forget, and delivers results I don't think I could get with a different method. I follow a keto dietary regime which relies heavily on grass-fed and free-range proteins, and many ketoans were recommending sous-vide.I recently wrote a review complaining of the time adjustment, which I said would only scroll forward by the minute. I was wrong and apologise. Having since recovered the manual from where I had hidden it from myself, I have learned how to scroll forward by the hour. You just have to hold onto the scroll forward button for longer than I was doing. I also learned that it is possible to switch the temperature control between Fahrenheit and Celsius. This is useful when following recipes using the one or other system - easier than running to Google for a conversion.So, no more gripes. I love my sous-vide. It is in permanent use.

Look, I'm going to be honest with you all, I've used this once, it was on an 8hr sous vide, and I messed up a little, but that's on me, otherwise device works great, I got it for cheap and will likely be used once or twice a year, seems decent, though make sure you buy the right stuff for it like the suction pack thing as well as a heat proof plastic bucket for yourself if not a very large stockpot will do, it clips on easily enough, I'm sure you can also leave it free standing but that'll be up to who ever uses it

General review
It is a clip-on rather than those that you can screw and secure. But I didn't mind that because of its price. Tried once, works fine, as this is my first sous vide machine so I didn't know what to expect. Made a steak but it was a tough cut so didn't show the magic of sous vide. Gonna try with a better cut steak next time.It was quite easy to use. Just make sure the water level is in between the min and max mark, otherwise it will display error.You can select desired temperature and time. I set it for 55˚C,1 hr. Didn't have a thermometer to check for the exact temperature, but I saw a comment saying that there's a variance of +/- 0.8˚C, so you might want to adjust that accordingly. Again, I didn't mind because it is one of the cheaper machines I can find.The timer worked fine, the machine did stop after 1 hour, although I couldn't find a button to press start. I guess it just starts counting down automatically after the water is heated up or maybe I just didn't find the button.Didn't buy sous vide container, I just put it in my slow cooker inner container, the water has just managed to go past the min level and worked successfully.Gave it an overall 4-star where the price was a big part. Not sure how long it will last, but I hope it lasts a decent amount of time

Now I know what all the buzz is about.
The media could not be loaded. Seen here paired with the VPCOK tank, the KEAWEO sous vide device has elevated my cookery to a new level. I'm an experienced cook and have held back from getting into sous vide as I reckoned I was good enough as I was. Well, I wasn't. Results have surprised me. Turkey breast so succulent that it is still juicy after cooled down. Brisket likewise and if you apply a seasoning rub the meat really absorbs the flavour right through.The KEAWEO is virtually silent and I was pleasantly surprised to find how quickly it preheated the water in my 12l tank. Judging from the results I'd say the temperature control is accurate as every recipe has turned out perfectly so far.Wish I had taken the plunge, pun not intended, sooner.

Amazon sent me broken device!
Device will not power on in anyway, Amazon sent me a totally defective unit and I have to waste even more of my time going to the post office to return it and that is with a prime membership. Another delivery was 5 days past the guarateed delivery date, they promise a refund the next day but when you return to the site they say it's coming wait another day. Overall Amazon has gone to the dogs and I will be cancelling my prime membership.
