Good, but expect a learning curve, even if you're used to cups
I have very happily used the Instead cup (now Softdisc) for years. The set I'd been boiling forever was starting to develop cracks in the rim, so I decided to try something more officially reusable. I don't like the idea of a cup with a stem after using the disc style for so long, so I decided to give these a try. I chose the small/large set so I could see which worked better. I've used them for several cycles now, and am overall satisfied, but they are more difficult to use than the Softcup.I am in my 40s, and have had several kids vaginally. I'd say my flow is moderate (fairly heavy but not excessively so for the first two days, light after that). I find myself mostly sticking with the small, so age and childbirth status don't seem to have as much to do with size choice as with some other cups.As with the Softcup, I change it about every two hours on my heavy days, but can go much longer the rest of the cycle. I find the small easier to insert because it doesn't fold up as much, and since I prefer to rinse it every time I use the toilet when practical, holding a ton isn't my biggest priority. I would probably use the large if I were out of the house on my heavy days, especially if restroom/cleaning access was questionable. The Softcup occasionally leaked when something shifted things up internally. These seem less prone to that. In the several months I've been using them, I've had one leak, and I can't really even blame the cup for that. It was the small cup, I'd had it in for 12 hours overnight on my heaviest day, and I had totally forgotten my period even existed and was just going about my day. That's never happened before. So really, that speaks to the comfort more than anything. This staying in place does mean they don't "self-empty" when urinating, as people claim with the Softcups. Not a capability I personally used much, but I know it's a big deal for a lot of people.Because these are less rigid, I find them much harder to insert than the Softcup - they tend to just fold around the cervix rather than covering it. With the Softcup, I basically just had to push it back behind the pubic bone, and it would be in place. With these, I have to hook my finger into the far end of it and use it to push the far end over and behind the cervix, if that makes sense. You definitely need to feel comfortable poking around up inside. Removing can also be a bit more of a struggle. But you get used to it.The ridges around the rim of the cup tend to get stuff stuck in them and are kind of annoying to clean.I have not tried these during sex. I'm sure they would work fine, but they seem like they would be more noticeably there than the Softcup - the cup of the Softcup is cellophane-thin, while these are much thicker.

2X cheaper than a Flex disc, but...
I love that it comes in a set of 2. It works great for leaks, but I don't get the easy dumping function like the Flex disc and I found it difficult to remove for the first 3 days. The edge is thick, but hard to grasp for removal. Good for the low price, but takes some time to "break in".

Seems quite cheap
Bought it as a first-time user, was easy to use but not easy to do so correctly. Quite flexible, easy to clean and use but does not hold its concave shape very well. Seems to become a bit deformed after use and doesn't catch liquid very well. Would not buy again if looking for quality.

zero leaks but disc messier changing than cup, learning curve
i'm 49 no kids and petite, i read many reviews that small could be a better fit but i'm glad i ordered the 2 size package because the large feels more secure against the pelvic bone when the small did not. it was tight and uncomfortable against bone when first put in but after moving around a bit i no longer felt it. watch a video to get an idea of putting it in, it's still hard for my head to wrap around how it actually works when it feels like it shouldn't but it has been mostly an improvement using a disc instead of cup with zero leaks so far. no stem to poke out. the only downside of disc compared to cup is as soon as i grab this lip to remove it drips it's contents out, i'm still learning perhaps. getting messy hands is no big deal to me but it could definitely be an issue if you don't have a sink right next to you, i do so not a big deal for me, guess i'll have to use a small bucket of water next to me when i change apartments. you can go all day so not necessary to change in public. i am going through peri menopause hell with increased bleeding days so i decided to try this. i prefer the more eco friendly and safer leave in on a busy day. no more wasted tampons that can stick when dry, just pop in for a "just in case situation"- love that! since the cup leaked on my beginning crazy heavy first days i supplemented with OB Ultra, i'm hoping this is a better alternative. will update after more use but so far this is a win.

satisfied with my purchase
The large (purple) is a little thicker and firmer on the rim. It is good for heavy flow. I use the clear sometimes in the middle. I like having that flexibility. The little bag they come in is not terribly useful or hygienic me thinks🤔 A sturdier sanitizable holder would make this product perfect. Otherwise not a bad deal for the price and the material is quite good.

Very very good
It was super comfortable I have lighterish periods and sometimes tampons are super painful but it’s so soft and it’s nice that I can remove it anytime without worrying that it will be painful it’s also nice that it’s better for the environment then pads or tampons a bit tricky to get out but I figured it out

Never using anything else again!
I was really excited to try this because I loved the idea of less waste, and it being cost effective. I was also very interested in the mess free sex because come on that's a total game changer. The first time I inserted it I opted to do it in the shower to keep things less messy and tried a few times to get it just right. I tried different positions and found what was comfortable. I worried that it wasn't in right because I felt nothing. Usually with a tampon I'm a bit uncomfortable and I get more cramping, but this was like having nothing. I put on a pair of period undies just incase and I went about my very physically active day leak free. Now the part that worried me a bit...the dreaded removal. I decided to hit the shower again as I read some reviews that definitely made doing anything else sound disasterous. I laid down again and it took some bearing down and a bit of searching to find the edge bit I managed to get it out. I was glad I was in the shower because I definitely struggled a bit and would have made a mess. I used the shower insertion and removal for day two as well and then on day three I felt comfortable enough with removing it to try on the toilet. I had no issue and no big mess, my sink is by my toilet so it was easy to rinse, definitely not something I'd want to do in a public rest room but hopefully won't have to since it can go so long without emptying.Day 3 I decided it was secure enough in there and in right so I decided to test out having sex. My partner didn't feel anything and it stayed on place. We went pretty vigorously and tried different positions to test it out, and he's definitely well endowed, and no leaks, no slips, just perfect mess free sex.I think it's definitely worth the money, and once you get used to using it you can have so much more freedom and comfort. Definitely everyone is shaped different so people may have to try a different brand if this one doesn't fit right, but for me it's like a huge game changer.Recommending to everyone I meet that bleeds.
