Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 3-Quart Sauce Pan with Glass Lid, Induction-Ready, Dishwasher-Safe, NSF-Certified, Made in Brazil

So we replaced our gas range with an induction range and we needed all new cookware. I’m the type of buyer who does my research and after comparing 6 different pot and pan sets (weight, price, reviews, pieces in set, ply) I finally settled on these, and I am very happy I did!First, they work perfectly on our induction cooktop. No issues at all. Sometimes they do make a noice (subtle clicking) when heating but this is something you get used to with induction.The pans heat quickly and evenly. No hot spots.The pans are well made with riveted metal handles so are oven safe. Nice feature when finishing something in oven. The pans clean up beautifully. Sometimes I may need to use a little Bar Keepers Friend and some elbow grease, but the results are beautiful and I much prefer this to dealing with nonstick. I also really like the glass lids—something my old set had and I wanted with my new set. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that because they are a quality weight pan, they can be heavy, especially when full. Just something to keep in mind if your hand or wrist strength is an issue. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this set and would recommend them to anyone looking for an induction ready cookware set!

This is an excellent saucepan. It's beautiful, durable, and heats evenly. Love the glass lid, which makes it so much easier to check whatever you happen to be cooking. If the lid is steamed up and making it hard to see what's in the plan, just give it a twirl and most of the moisture on the inside of the lid spins away, giving you a good look at what you're cooking.10/10 would buy again.

I have really enjoyed this cookware. It’s a good quality cookware for the price. It is for low to medium heat cooking, most all clad cookware is. It’s easy to clean. And if you use a little bar keeeps secret it looks like new. If you happen to get white marks in the bottom. That only happens on certain foods. Which is normal from what I understand. I bought this set and loved it! So I bought another set for my son and his wife. They seem to love it too. 😊

10 piece set, with glass lids;Very nice pans, but several points where functionality could be much better:- biggest problem is handle shape. the handles are VERY rounded, and their point of attachment on the pans is not super wide. So, the heavy pots/pans, especially the wide ones, are difficult to keep straight and/or flip, because they turn around in your grip way more than a flatter/concave handle would, and more than a wider attachment point handle could- Both pans and handles are heavy, so the small sauce and fry pay easily bumped/tip over because the pans do not greatly outweigh the handles, especially when they are empty.- lid handles heat up, be prepared to have hot pad available to touch them. Not unexpected for these pans, but some brand types have rubber/plastic ledges on lid handles that solve this issue. Pot/pan handles heat up too, but not generally to the point that you cant hold them bare-handed

I'm new to the stainless game and decided to piece meal a set of Tramontina TriPly from Amazon. The 3qt sauce pan was one of my purchases to test them out, and I've been really impressed. First, the size of this pan is perfect for cooking a box of mac and cheese. Sort of the holy grail size for our family where you dont need a huge two handle pot to get the job done. If you preheat the pans, and use some oil, the sticking is really not as bad as I was expecting. Cleanup is not as easy as non stick, but we've had anything that didnt come off. I've learned that if there is any staining, dont worry, next you make spaghetti sauce or something acidic, the pan will look brand new afterwards.

I replaced my nonstick pots that kept losing their costing with these Tramontina pots and I've been loving them. The handles stay so cool compared to other pots I've used before and the quality is really high.

This is by far the best pot I could have bought. It’s heavy duty and has a nice long handle. But the best part is that it isn’t made in china but in South America
