I was confused when I saw some reviews saying the dongle worked with BM3/MHD/BimmerCode and some people commenting that it was having connectivity issues. After purchasing mine I realized that the dongle works exactly as is described and people aren’t following instructions as per bimmercode/bm3 etc.on iPhone connect to the dongles WiFi “ENet-blah blah” password is 12345678. Then click the little “i” in a circle next to the “ENet” WiFi name, copy you current ip address and change the ip address settings from automatic to manual then paste the ip address in it’s prompt and then for subnet mask put 255.255.255.0 then save and go to the app you want to connect with.For BimmerCode you will have to select Enet Wi-fi adapter then it will connect and let you choose your vehicle then code whatever you want.It will not work with Supra/Gseries XHp tunes but it does work for the F series. It’s a shame because that’s the only capability this dongle is missing

I was able to flash both my bm3 and xHP on my 340i without any issues a super fast. Anyone who says otherwise isn’t following directions and probably needs to drive a car that takes 87 octane.

2014 BMW 328i Touring (F31)I bought this after getting tired of my ethernet to usb adapters failing with my enet OBDII cable, and since not all of my BMW apps support Bluetooth, I had to go WiFi. It took a few minutes to get it to connect the first use, but since then it's been recognized quickly with each app. Awesome to now only need this one device to use all of my BMW apps! I confirmed it works with Bimmercode, BimmerLink, bootmod3, ProTool, and xHP.

Bought the 50$ bummer code app but still don’t work says can’t connect and I’m on the obd WiFi

Great product, biggest thing I hate is that yes it has functionality to use internet while connected by changing IP but doing so will disconnect from bm3 on obd weird issue but seem to have no solution around it so having internet is a misconception in their description. You either connect to car or internet can’t do both so have to download the maps and then connect to bm3 for putting the maps on sometimes if I open it after a month will have to press start installing map just to come up with error in authenticating license for which have to disconnect wifi for internet to verify and then connect again. Another issue I keep having is how tight the obd housing is, is a pain to get out of obd have hit my hand on metal so many times on floor because or how aggressive I have to be to remove it and then hitting my hand. Have actually bleed out few times no big deal I guess is good won’t fall off. Sort of have a trick to remove it but doesn’t always work sometimes just is too tight.

This product is quite impressive - I bought a second one for my other car to keep in the glove box. It works with ISTA and Bimmercode, as a wifi or using an ethernet cable. I've been using a Bimmercode specific bluetooth adaptor - works but this Enet wifi adaptor is way better and faster and multi app! Totally worth it.
