The part kit fit perfectly and included the high heat lubrication. Easy to install and solved the squeaky irritating dryer!

Dryer was squeaking really bad. Watched YouTube videos on how to replace this drum bearing kit. Not too difficult to replace, but it took me almost an hour following a 15-minute YouTube video. Lots of cleaning had to be done along the way, and the video cut out those cleaning parts, I guess. Not the easiest first-time repair, but definitely within my skill set going step by step. Like most repairs, if I did it again, it would go a lot faster the second time. The dryer no longer squeaks, so I am very happy with this purchase.

I like that we got the part but we couldn't figure out how to use it so we trashed the whole $600 used washer dryer set in the trash.

I have a Kenmore dryer machine and this works perfectly for that.I found a video on youtube with details on how to replace the drum bearing.It is easy to follow. It took me about 80 minutes total for doing it. I have never done that before, this is the first time.It is well worth the time to replace it as my dryer was previously making funny noises.The dryer was 15 years and never had any maintenance done on it. The only thing I ever do was to clean the lint filter after every use and that was it.Hopefully, the this kit is good for another 10 years.

Mimics the OEM factory installed parts, and is a definite improvement over our previously screeching old dryer's worn out drum bearing assembly. However, the replacement screws are slightly thinner than the originals, as does seem to be the plastic of the new drum bearing socket. If this negatively impacts the durability of the repair, only time will tell. Use hand tools and not a drill or impact driver to intall them to avoid stripping the threads. The original parts lasted nearly 18 years, but this generic repair kit only cost about 18 US dollars, and was delivered next day.Including cleanup of lint and dust from the interior of the appliance, dismounting and re-installing the dryer on top of the front load washer, and viewing a helpful video tutorial (thanks to Steve of PartSelect, eh), took me about two hours to make the repair.

The only difference I noticed between this kit and the OEM parts is the screw heads. Whereas the OEM self threading Phillips head screw had top that were slightly recessed and had a locking type contact surface on the underneath side. This replacement kit had standard machine Phillips head screw of a slightly longer length and a non-locking washer for the the screws to attach the stainless drum bearing.The OEM screws would have less possible contact with the clothes inside the dryer.I’ll report back if there is any issue with dryer contents being affected by this difference. Otherwise, good cost savings and expedient delivery. Thank you.

It was installed just as planned. Thought I could get away with cleaning up and lubing the old one. that didn't work and this new one has solved the problem.

My 10 year old Frigidaire dryer was making an awful screeching sound. This was needed to fix that. Requires a complete disassembly of the dryer, but its relatively easy to do and there are plenty of YouTube videos to show you how to replace this part. This part came with all the necessary bolts and even had the grease packet. Good price.
