It doesn't move a tremendous amount of air and you would have to hook it up to the proper voltage and amperage. That said, this very fan is used in piezoelectric 12volt coolers. So, yes, it could be used in a fridge.

I think is that they are low noise!, they put lot air in the VCR/VHS.
