They are polite, easy to talk too, and they say all the right things.I was in love with one and when I met him, he was the nicest guy I ever met. We dated for over 3 years because I wanted to make sure. He was so kind with his words. We married and slowly I noticed that his kind words didn’t always match his actions. Nothing horrible but he thought I should be the one to wait on him and do all the chores, if I called him on it, he made me out to be the bad guy. Soon,I thought I was the bad guy. He knew how to push buttons and I really doubt he was even capable to love anyone, even his own child. He said he loved us daily but that’s what he needed. He needed people to think he was Mr. nice guy...He wasn’t and once I got ready to leave because the gaslighting and lies became to much he had by that time stolen our retirement saving right from under me. Every dime. Be careful of these to good to be true types. The are void souls.

***Purchased a Paperback copy***This is a very interesting book about the Chris Watts case - the man who murdered his wife, unborn son and two daughters because he wanted to start a new life with a work colleague. When watching the news you miss stuff, but this book lays out all the information about the case in one place.The authors have gathered police reports, transcripts, FBI paperwork, phone calls, texts messages, etc. and included them to show the events that took place after Shannon and the girls were reported missing, so you can try making since of what happened in August 2018 and maybe get some unanswered questions answered.

This book is the full and complete transcripts from all the interviews,911 calls everything.It also answers some questions,like for me,I was wondering exactly how and when Chris Watts girlfriend came to their attention,and exactly what she said.This tells the story.

I didn't like that it basically was a transcript of records, too much verbiage and no meat. I will not be reading the 2nd book.

Most of the reading is of police discovery files including interviews with Chris Watts and Nikki K. It also includes the initial calls from Nicole A to police that began the Watts murder story.Overall, a tragic read even if it is mainly just transcripts. It truly shows the corruption of man as a wicked sinner.

This was a struggle to read; taking transcripts and turning them into a book is rarely a good idea because “likes” and “ums” don’t make for a good read. Additionally, the conjectures the authors make at the end of each chapter are terribly obnoxious and somewhat disgusting. They are not thought-provoking and if someone has less than 10 brain cells or cannot think critically, they will be mislead about how parts of the criminal justice system work.

This guy is a monster. The detectives were absolutely amazing at getting a confession out of him. I feel awful for Shanaan's parents.

Please don’t confuse title with Truman Capote’s masterpiece. I didn’t care for format. Grammar was uneducated and deplorable. Even thumbing through it, waste of time.
