Great value for money, in my opinion
I received this remote shutter release device a few minutes ago. Had to use a magnifying glass to read the tiny print in the tiny user-guide. Maybe younger people could do without this!As per the instructions, I turned on the device and switched on the Bluetooth on the phone. The phone discovered the device almost immediately and was easy to pair - the phone asked for permissions for the device to access my photos, but I declined that as I cannot think of any shutter function that would require such permission.Tested the device with the photo camera and it works in all modes I tested. I also tested it with the video camera and it works as expected: first press of the button starts the recording and the next press of the button stops the recording.Even though the build quality is average, the device does exactly what I needed and seems robust enough for general use. Excellent value for money, in my opinion.Phone: Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 running Android 10 and MIUI 12.

Doesn’t work
I was unable to pair it with my iPhone, so basically useless if you have ios 13 and above
