The TD-3 is an excellent recreation of the Roland 303
The Behringer TD-3 recreates the legendary Roland 303 sound spot-on and adds on a usable distortion section (that wasn't on the original). It also employs the same odd sequencer programming workflow of the original 303, which requires a short learning curve. The build quality is fine and with MIDI & CV/Gate I/O, it plays well with others. For a bit over $100, the Behringer TD-3 is a bargain.

Faithful Sounding Clone
Let’s make one thing clear. This is a niche product. If you’re looking for that Acid Style TB-303 clone sound, this is the machine for you. It’s hard to program, cheaply built, and limited in sounds. So don’t come to this if you’re looking for anything other than a great sounding reproduction of the 303. That said, it adds USB midi, distortion, and has a randomized feature, which sets it above the original. Plus, you can play it like an external module using midi. You can’t beat all that for the price. Heck, even if you just use it as a toy to mess around and get some cool sounds with, it is worth it! Plus it works FANTASTIC with Behringer’s 606 clone, the RD-6. I love how this unit sounds and is cheaper than paying 3 grand for the original or around 400 bucks for other clones!

Meh...
I would say this is probably good for people looking for that acid sound. However, its limited and you will probably invest more time and money into it to get it to sound the way you want.As for as value...I feel that its only saving grace is that you get know and buttons to play with. That being said you could probably get away with some free VSTs.If I could go back...I would buy a second behringer crave over this.Maybe with some effects it will be better.

All I know is Beringer changed the game. I can finally have the sounds I've dreamed about since I started playing music. I haven't been this excited about gear in years. the future is now chase your dreams.
