Easy to set up and works brilliantly
I bought this as a replacement for a 3-year-old unit that failed, it was so easy to set up and work straight away. I would definitely recommend this item under the seller who dispatched it immediately

Dead easy to set up.
Very easy to set up, connected to alexa and worked like a dream but failed after 4 months ( flashing multicoloured lights, not recognised by the alexa) . I have bought a few of these sorts of things over time and on the whole they have been pretty good. It was on top of the kitchen cabinet, controlling the worktop lighting and it may have failed due to environment, so I'll give it the benefit of doubt.

Lighting up my home one controller at a time.
Bought this as I had leftover LED lights from a different light kit and I have to say, I was a little concerned at first that this wouldn't be compatible, but to my surprise it worked perfectly. One minor problem I had when setting it up was that multiple times I had to switch it on and off again multiple times when trying to pair it with a third party LED light app. Other than that, I haven't had any other problems with it. Would definitely buy again in future

Be aware doesn't support 5ghz WiFi - if you get over that then works well
Bought these to replace existing controllers in my kids bedrooms so that they could use their echo dots to turn the lights on and off.If they worked with 5ghz WiFi then would give them 5 star reviews. Despite my WiFi broadcasting on 2.4 and 5 these controller would not connect to the network. After much scratching around I was able to create a new network SID from my router just on 2.4ghz which the controllers would connect to. From then on using the Magic Home app was pretty simple and both of my kids could use it on their phones easy enough. The best bit however was then adding the skill into Alexa and using voice control to turn them on and dim the brightness etc. I've not used Alexa skills that much, but one simple tip that I have learned is for each bedroom/location to group the echo dot and the LED controller in the Alexa app, this then allows simple commands in each room such as " alexa turn the lights on" work individually in each room. Probably alexa 101 for most people but was new for me and thought is pretty useful to know.
