Good product, but the packaging was not good,
**Product Review: Imagine Technologies Fully Automatic Water Level Controller with Float Sensor (IT82WLCF)**I recently purchased and installed the **Imagine Technologies Fully Automatic Water Level Controller with Float Sensor (IT82WLCF)**, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Here's why I highly recommend this product:**Ease of Installation:**The installation process was straightforward. The unit comes with clear instructions, and I was able to set it up within an hour without any hassle. The float sensor is easy to place, and the controller unit fits well with standard water tanks.**Automatic Functionality:**The primary reason for choosing this model was its fully automatic operation, and it does not disappoint. The system automatically controls the water filling process, ensuring the tank is filled to the optimal level without overflow. It also automatically stops the motor when the tank is full, preventing water wastage and saving electricity. It has truly simplified the water management in my home.**Float Sensor Performance:**The included float sensor is highly sensitive and accurate. It detects water levels precisely and works seamlessly with the controller to ensure that water is pumped in only when necessary. The sensor is durable, and there are no false readings or delays in operation.**Build Quality:**The build quality of both the controller and float sensor is solid and durable. The materials feel high-quality, and the design is compact and efficient. I particularly appreciate that the controller is housed in a sturdy, weather-resistant casing, which is perfect for both indoor and outdoor installations.**Energy & Water Savings:**Since installing this water level controller, Iβve noticed a significant reduction in water wastage and energy consumption. The system only runs the pump when needed and stops it automatically once the tank is full. This feature has helped me conserve both water and electricity, which is an added bonus.**Reliability:**The Imagine Technologies Water Level Controller has been extremely reliable so far. It has been working flawlessly without any glitches. The system consistently performs as expected, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my water tank is being managed efficiently.**Value for Money:**For the price, this product offers great value. A Unique Device For Water Conservation
I bought this device to avoid wastage of water from overhead tank.I am aware about many such devices which have alarm feature to alert a person once the tank is full. But they are semi automatic as they require manual intervention to switch off the motor once the tank is full. It requires someone to be around for listening the alarm which is actually not a fool proof solution if there is no one around or misses to hear the alarm at home! This device is very unique as it does the entire operation (ON/OFF) of controlling the water pump on its own i.e. if the tank is empty it will switch on the motor else switch it off if it is full.It comes with a floating sensor and a power supply which is connected to the tank and motor respectively to perform this automation magic.A power unit is connected in series with the motor ON/OFF switch and the sensor is placed securely in water tank which in turn is also connected to the power supply to transmit message to the power supply for switching the motor ON/OFF.Though, there are many such devices available for such type of automation but this one is unique as the sensor is of plastic which shall never corrode inspite being in water for ages compared to the one which are made of metal or steel (these sensors activate upon moisture which accumulates on them in humid or warm weather conditions transmitting wrong signals to the power supply switch). The only thing to remember is the trick of placing the sensor in tank as it works on the principle of Buoyancy and gravitational force where if the sensor bends down in water, the metal ball inside it completes the circuit and triggers the power supply to start the motor and if the water tank is full, it floats extremely in an opposite position making the metal ball inside to move in reverse direction to break the current circuit to switch off the motor. If you have a submersible supply, you can place the sensor at any position whichever is desirable for you to switch on the motor as per the desirable water level. This is because, the water supply is under your control. e.g. 1/2; 1/3; 1/4 empty. If you have a municipal water supply (scheduled water supply) only, you have to place the sensor in the tank very smartly which means, the position of the sensor should be in downwards (ON) position when the tank is 1/4 empty or even lesser than it. The reason for this is, if you set the sensor in downward (ON) position at 1/2 or 1/3 level of water tank, the motor will only start once the tank is half or one third empty. This may miss switching ON the motor for a day (depends upon the consumption), and if the water fails to come on the next day at scheduled time (sometimes it happens if there is civil work or cleaning work going on in the municipal premises) the water level can go beyond half of the tank capacity resulting in water crisis in your house. For setting the floating sensor in such a way so that the motor ON/OFF happens frequently, one should place only 1/4 of the wire (supplied with sensor) within the tank and the weight supplied with the sensor should be very near to the sensor. Whereas, if you want a delay in switching the motor ON/OFF e.g. 1/2 water level, increase the wire length within the water tank and the weight should be suspended away from the sensor.I have attained this setting after several tries and it works perfectly.Another suggestion for people who are dependent on municipal water supply only. You can combine this automation switch (Power supply and sensor) device with a timer switch available online for setting the motor ON/OFF time automatically. I have reviewed that product too. You can check my reviews through my profile. Both the device in combination work like a magic. The timer has an automation to switch the motor timely as per the water supply time whereas, the water level controller switches it off if the tank is full during the water supply duration.
