Used on the bottom of a flexible pipe in a well.
This is an excellent quality and very well engineered bit of kit. I roughly measured across the outer diameter of the ribbed hose / pipe connector at about 32mm (inch and a quarter), and knew it would fit the flexible pipe I had.If you bought a cast iron garden water pump and stand from machine mart ref PP35C then this is the part they don't sell which is needed to make a fully working set up. I can now pump water (about 3m vertically) but you need this foot valve for it to happen. Very pleased.
