Weld-On 14027 Plumbing PVC/CPVC Primer - Fast Acting and Low VOC, Purple, 1/2 Pint (8 fl oz)

I had bought a similar product at my local hardware store, but I could never get the lid off. Although it was difficult to get the lid off of these it did come off and I was able to glue my project together. I used these on a furniture application. I made a vestibule to go around my computer table and block out sound to record high-quality audio. Thus, I cannot comment on how well it works or how long it lasts when used in the intended plumbing application. However, I can say that if you're using this for a PVC furniture project it seems to work fine.

My sprinkler system in the front of the house broke during the storm. So I decided to change it myself and went to the local hardware store, which had the glue for a much higher price so I decided to go with Amazon. After purchasing the glue, it was very easy to use and have all the instructions included in the package. I placed a two PVC pipe and placed both types of glue on it and created a good sealed and waited about a minute for it to have a strong bond. After insulation, it has held very well. I would recommend this product to any of my friends that need a quick PVC pipe repair at their house for much lower cost than the local warehouse store.

Used it to join PVC pipe and cap to cap off unused and leaky sprinkler valve. Let us sit for 25min and it works like a charm.

I used "eld-On 15900 Twin Pack 780 PVC Regular-Bodied Plumbing Solvent Cement and Purple" recently when installing my new Black & Decker pool pump. It worked wokderfully on the 2" PVC piping. Unfortunately the lid on the primer leaked no matter how tight I screwed the lid on. So, I put it in a zip-lock sandwich back to keep it from spilling everywhere or drying out.
