Can't be faulted for the price
These speakers are just superb for the money. Bought to use with my laptop and are ideal for listening to music or content, loud enough too. The bass isn't crazy but perfectly adequate for music and nice detail to the sound as well, used for classical and jazz as well as rock and pop music. The minimalistic design looks smart on the desk and they take up little room. Worth plugging them in to get that extra boost. Good job Creative!!

Great For Mac Mini
Earlier this year I bought a Mac Mini and was frustrated to discover how little control you have of the volume when outputting to a monitor. It might be down to my monitor (a 4k Asus ProArt display) but even on the lowest volume, it was too loud, and on the Mac you can't adjust system volume when sending the sound to a monitor; to adjust the volume to something bearable I had to use the Mac's internal speaker, which I really don't recommend.Suffering from ME/CFS, I'm particularly sensitive to audio, especially if it's too bass-heavy. These speakers having passive bass radiators, just like my TV soundbar (which thankfully has bass adjustment, which I still had to reduce several steps), gave me some hope.Everything is hardwired together, and there's a USB A adapter included (which I needed to power them via my monitor), so setup is a bit of a pain - the cables very much get in the way - but once they're in place it's all good.As expected, turning the dial all the way down turns them off, which is perfect as I definitely don't need them on a lot of the time. There's a switch on the bottom of the speaker with the dial, marked "high gain A" and "H". After looking it up, A is auto (the default) and H is high (which sounds a bit louder to me, which I didn't need, so I set it to A).Sound quality is surprisingly good, with everything nice and clear, the dial making adjusting the volume as required very easy. You're not going to be getting full uncompressed audio over these, given the price and use of an aux connector, but they really did surprise me by being far better than I expected at this price point. They're not even as big as I expected (being round, the dimensions measure the widest points, so I was trying to visualise them as almost spheres when trying to figure out whether they would fit around my 27" monitor on my computer desk, which is only 80cm wide), so they're easy enough to accommodate. The audio issue with my Mac Mini was really bugging me, but these have instantly proven themselves to be the essential accessory to resolve that problem.

Good for what you pay./
I recently purchased these Pebble V2 speakers and have been pleasantly surprised by their performance. These speakers provide a good sound quality, especially considering their affordable price point. They fit perfectly into my minimalist setup, and the compact design is a definite plus.Although small, one standout feature is the tactile volume knob on the front, which adds a touch of convenience and control. It's a small detail, but it enhances the overall user experience.I think the sound quality is generally very good for this price point, there are a lot of worse options out there for a lot more money but it's important to note that there's a decernable lack of bass compared to larger more premimum offerings. However, this isn't unexpected given the absence of a dedicated subwoofer, which comes at an additional cost. For most everyday listening though, the bass is perfectly adequate and the sound is crystal clear. In summary, the CREATIVE Pebble V2 speakers offer a lot of value for their price. They deliver good sound quality, come with a minimalist and sturdy design that integrates well into various setups and If you're not expecting earth-shattering bass and are looking for a budget-friendly option, these speakers are definitely worth considering.

Much better than you expect, but not amazing in any way
I have owned and used many very expensive speakers and recording equipmentover the years and currently use Ruark MR1 Mk2 speakers as my computer speakers for leisure at home. I own some impressive Event TR8 near field speakers which I have used for many years in a more serious recording environment and am experienced in using some very high end speakers in studios in my youth before moving on to a different career path.Working away for much of the year on events, I found myself using headphones in my digs which were hurting my ears so I thought I would buy some cheap speakers to use with my laptop and second monitor for watching YT videos and playing some music. Rather than splashing out on yet another set of pricey monitors for this, I took a chance on some super cheap speakers (£25 inc delivery from Amazon) for this purpose. Honestly, I can't believe how far cheap speaker have come on. Apart from feeling robust and pretty well made, these things have some more than reasonably drivers in them that (and I don't need the volume so I can not honestly review how they perform at higher sound levels) that sound surprisingly decent. 25 year ago, this level of expenditure would have bought you some tinny plastic speakers that sounded awful but, how times have changed. If you are out for some high end shelf speakers or something that really challenges larger and higher end hifi speakers or some proper near field monitors then look elsewhere, and be prepared to spend way in to three figures. But for £25 delivered I have to say I am actually really impressed for what you get for that outlay these days. Any the honestly don't come across as looking cheap in any way. Don't expect the world, they are not great in any way. But for the money they are really quite impressive for the price
