Best strings IMHO!
Been using these for about 23 years now. Picked up the cobalt since I've been using the premium versions of STHB strings (paradigm, cobalt, etc.) rather then the straight normal versions for longevity reasons and pickup reasons. The cobalt puts off more magnet pull so there is a little more volume! Can't go wrong! I would have grabbed some more Paradigm versions of this string set but the cost right now is a little much to order one pack ... so picked these! Always TOP NOTCH quality! Never a concern with Ernie Ball strings as stated above, I am very familiar with them! This gauge is good for dropping down all 6 strings 1 step IMO! I go even lower sometimes but I don't recommend going *under* drop C with the .52 if you are not used to the lighter touch it requires!
