Metal y tapa plástica) *****-Buena protección en caja*****Contras:-Le falta más profundidad en los bajos del sonido***-La App parece estar en abandono(Sin actualizaciones reciente) **-Poca variedad de configuración en la app**Modo uso / Configuración inicial:-Primero: descarga la App de Pulse en la Playstore de Google Play / Apple Store-Segundo: enrosca ambas bombillas con ambos interruptores apagados y posiciona la bombilla que pone Satelite a la derecha de tu sockets-Tercero: enciende los interruptores (escucharás un sonido de conección entre ambas bombillas), conecta la bombilla via BT (no por la app).-Cuarto: luego de conectada, usa la app para encontrar la bombilla Satelite y para configurar Volumen / Brillo / EQ Audios predeterminados: Jazz, Rock, Clásica, etc. Y brillo de luz 🌟-Quinto: Asegurate que el volumen de tu Smartphone, tablet, etc. Tenga el volumen alto para luego hacer la compensación del mismo por vía de la App (para que luego no digas que se escucha muy bajito :)... Y luego de todo esto... A DiSFRUTAR!También puedes comprar y conectar más bombillasEn fin, si tienes una sala con dos sockets en derecha, izquierda; es super ideal para poner las dos bulbs Pulse. Tiene un volumen medio-Alto donde se puede socializar con amigos y bailar (influye el tamaño de tu sala o habitación, mientras mas pequeña y cerrada mejor calidad de sonido y volumen obtendrás). No esperes que con estas bombillas BT vas a retumbarle la casa al vecino XP.Mi calificación personal: 9.5/10NOTA: luz calida (Amarilla) atenuable por via de la App (no colocar un Dimmer controlador en el interruptor).

These little bulbs are amazing. A bit pricey and bulky but they pack a nice punch.I installed these in my two lamps on either side of my bed. I used the iPad Bluetooth and quickly connected without any trouble. It also directed me to the app need to operate the lights. My biggest complaint is the are BIG. About twice the size of a standard bulb. I had to manipulate the brackets on both lamps and squeeze them in at an angle. They are still not seeded correctly but I made them work. ( both lamps are medium size)The light is a clean soft white 2600 lum ... Reminds me of natural daylight. The LEDs produce a very low high frequency hum. Slightly noticeable in a very quiet setting but not overwhelming. It's hard to avoid that sound with LEDs. The dimmer on the app works perfectly. Love it in my bed side setting!Having both bulbs on either side of the bed produce a surprising crisp solid sound. These little things actually Rock! The app comes with 8 presettings rock, jazz, ect. I have to say that the sound quality is very very good. I was able to play pandora as well as play music right off the iPad. Any sound produced by the pad comes out of the bulbs including games as well.These bulbs are very cool and can be used in any dry location. Besides the bulky install i have really enjoyed these neat little gadgets.

I checked and the two deliver left and right stereo sound, just as I wanted, over the Bluetooth connection. Or rather they did the first time I tried it. Then I moved them to ceiling light fixtures, _not_ on a dimmer. Now only one of them is controlled by the app. Both turn on but I can only get sound and only control brightness from one of them. The other, no sound, full brightness, does not lower when I lower brightness via the app, which the first one does. It's as if somehow the bluetooth code gets confused over whether to connect to the master or the slave. I spent ten minutes fooling with it, un-pairing, turning power on and off to the speaker/lights, rebooting the phone, re-discovering via bluetooth, nothing changes. Still only one of them controlled by the Android phone app, other one: no sound, full brightness. I don't know how but somehow the master lost the address of the satellite. I was able to re-establish using the app and the barcode reader facility and now both speakers and light level controls for both work together. I'll just add that it's easy to be lulled into thinking you don't need to read the instructions first; you can get into trouble that way!

I used 2 of these (master and satellite) in a rec. room 15x20 with 12 6inch recessed lighting cans. What I like about theses bulbs. They fit recessed lighting cans and look good. The app features like dimming lights and using the preset eq options. The speakers sound pretty good especially the mids and highs. Able to pair speakers (subwoofer or same bulbs) and add more. Able to control sound for each speaker. Able to use bluetooth from tv, phone, tablet or any device that sends bluetooth signals. Wireless!!!! Space saving by elimating soundbars and wired satellite speakers that sit on end tables or attached to walls. What I dont like about these are: Can add only 8 total speakers. Which means I cant fill up all 12 cans and rock the house lol. Only one color option for led which is white. I would like to be able to use multi colored leds and maybe different party modes to rotate through colors and flashing lights. Overall these are great sounding speaker lights. I will be adding a sub and 2 more satellite speakers for a more complete robust sound for this room.
