Replaced an old timeguard switch that left the lights with a low glow further off time. Works perfect and integrated with Alexa easily.

Works perfectly, very easy to configure to the wifi, I use it to supply power to the air-conditioning for my guests to enjoy cool temperatures while sleeping, perfect 👌

It is a little large in depth, so although it can be attached to a shallow back box, the device protrudes out about the same as the depth of the box. It has a manual operation button as well as the App and Alexa integration. There is a small light to indicate power is applied and there are coloured LEDs inside the box which show whether the switch is on or off/standby. There is an automatic timer operation and can be set for individual days as on/off times very good value for money as it is rated as 3kW and works very well.

Bought these a few months back to replace old Skool analogue heating timer switches. I had originally bought a different make and model to move two single switches into a double but it wouldn’t work. Anyhow I bought these and replaced the old switches with these. Worked perfectly. Now I can switch on my heating remotely or set up a scene so it will come on based on the parameters I set or put it on timer etc. really really good product and works with Google home or Alexa

UPDATE9 months after installing this switch, without ever a problem, I had to change my WiFi router. The connection quality hasn't changed and I'm still able to turn the switch on using its Android app, but after less than 5 minutes it goes dark. No led/light on the device is on, it looses connection to the app and it takes about 20 seconds to auto-restart. There were no changes to the wiring or anything else, just the WiFi router. Now I wonder how to return it...I'm 99% satisfied, as this makes it so easier to set the timer for my immersion heater. The problem with the old mechanical one was that it is placed in an odd position and it was a nightmare to re-program, not to mention that I couldn't change the schedule if I came home early. It works great with Smart Life app and Google Assistant, I have no idea if and how it works with Alexa or other apps.The problem with this is that it does work only with a reliable connection to its cloud. If anything goes wrong, the schedule is simply skipped. And the shutdown it's an independent schedule, meaning that if it gets the turn-on schedule right, but fails to turn-off, it's going to stay on until next turn-off schedule, less than ideal, so I suggest turning on the notifications for every schedule, to be sure that you get notified on your phone if anything goes wrong.If they allowed setting a single schedule that would turn on the switch at a given time for a given duration, that would entirely solve the problem.Without this small setback, it would be a full 5 stars product.

The media could not be loaded. I had one of the old fashioned timer switches with all the little buttons on it. Was well passed it sell by date and in need of upgrade. This appears to have done the trick. Quick easy install, took the old one off and swapped wires into new one. Looks much cleaner and modern. Connected to wifi with no issue (just make sure you have your wifi 2.4ghz. if only 5ghz shows up then you have to go into your router settings and change it so both 5 and 2.4 are visible) easy one button control. App is 'smart life'. Easy to connect and then synced up to google assistant. Seems to be good quality from early impressions. Fit is good and I was able to use previous devices inner wall bracket to attach

Purchased this smart switch to turn a outside light on and watch the foxes in the garden without having to move from the sofa and frighten them away.As the description states you need a neutral wire to operate this.It was simple enough to wire in and connect to my WiFi although I did have a slight problem connecting to Alexa and took a couple of tries but think that could have been me. I downloaded the skills for Alexa and it connected straight away.It looks a bit big protruding from the wall compared to some products on the market that are flush fitting but should you have a shallow back box this is worth it’s weight in gold.I have a echo dot and there’s a second delay from talking to Alexa on or off you can see in the video but using the app it’s instant the moment you press the button.It’s been installed a couple of days now and has worked perfectly even when turning the power off it’s connected to the WiFi when turned on again without fault.There is a visual light in the corner when turned on and the centre WiFi light doesn’t glare at you when not in use. You can hear a click when it’s operated just like a normal switch which I find appealing as you don’t have to look to know it’s on.If you’ve not had a smart switch before you’ll find this product grows on you the more you use it.I’ve been looking but wish this was made in a 2 gang switch as well.Great product.Update April 2020 I now have purchased 3 off these and well pleased.
