Good replacement for B18099-10
This is a fine replacement for a B18099-10. While it's not the exact same board, it works perfectly, and the directions are thorough. As one other reviewer said, don't worry about the square white connector on this new board. The plug into it is included and easy to wire into the thermostat connections. You just have to do a few wire nuts. All covered by the instructions. One thing to be aware of when you are done and fire it back up is that there may be a delay of around 5 to 10 seconds before anything happens, whereas with the old board, mine at least, the draft inducing blower would come on immediately. So I thought the replacement was a failure and was just sitting there pondering what I could have done wrong when it started going. It's been working perfectly since. The problem I was trying to fix was intermittent, where the furnace would fire up, then sometimes shut back down for no apparent reason. I tried a new flame sensor, among other things, but it still kept being flaky. One other suggestion I would make is to move one wire at a time from the old board to the new, rather than disconnecting them all from the old board then connecting them up to the new. Seems way easier to keep them straight doing one at a time. Also would recommend taking several photos of all the wiring before starting, just in case you need to refer back to how it looked originally.

Easy to Install & Functional
First of all ICM Controls are made in the USA and their manufacturing facility is modern with good quality control. I had the Goodman OEM B18099-13 control board for a GMT 090-A gas furnace, so on the directions I did not use the 9 pin plug included, but used the existing plug. Also, I used the existing White, Green and Red thermostat "pigtails" since mine were in good condition.Tip: I removed the White, Green and Red thermostat connections first and then pulled the 9 pin plug. Then, I removed the old control board. Tip: if you take an old style Bic ball point pen and remove the guts you can use the barrel of the pen and press it over and down on the plastic standoffs which hold the board in place and you can then slip the board off. Then, I just removed the remaining wires (one by one) and plugged into the terminals on the new board. They match exactly. Note: the terminal marked EAC is and electronic air cleaner and the one marked HUM is a humidifier and these are covered with plastic slips because most people do not have these. I left the Blower Delay at 150 seconds which is the factory setting.

affordable
The circuit board fit perfectly, and has proven to be a great value for the cost.

Defective - stopped starting burners after 2 weeks.
For a Goodman GMNT080-4. This is for board 2 of 2.Replaced old control board with this one, and worked fine for about 2 weeks. Then, the gas valve would click on and then off after about 3 seconds, and not maintain the flame (even if all 4 burners lit). Would give a 1 flash code.I replaced the gas valve, ignitor, and flame sensor, and checked everything else. With all other items checking out, I ordered a second ICM289. Once installed, the furnace worked perfectly. OK, latent defects happen ... except this second one only worked for about a week. The same symptoms reappeared.I then ordered another brand of control board, which has again made the furnace work perfectly. Unfortunately, I’m only able to return the second board, as the first one was in my possession for more than 30 days. I don’t know if there was a bad batch or I’m just unlucky, but it wasted a lot of my time and I’m out the purchase cost of one board.

Works, with a caveat (gas cuts off after a second)
I hooked it up and after firing, after 1 second the gas would click off and system reset. Talked to their tech support who was knowledgeable and helpful. It was my thermostat stealing power off the line. This board has a safety feature the original doesnt, if the signal from the thermostat is too distorted it cuts off. Luckily, I had extra wires in my thermostat bundle and could hook one to a ground in the furnace and one to the "c" terminal in my thermostat and that fixed my problem. If yours is having this problem, jumper R to W and if it stops that is likely your issue. I had of course checked that before replacing the board to rule out the thermostat, but the new board has this feature and the old on did not so I had already ruled out my thermostat as an issue. They lost a star because this is billed as a direct replacement, so don't incorporate extra features the original doesnt have. Otherwise, board works great, is robust, and tech support was helpful.

Perfect fit!
Perfect fit. Great product! It looked slightly different from the original unit. However, it works just fine. Not bad for $100. And very easy to install. Took less than 15 minutes without no mechanical experience! Unplug the old one and plug in the new one. It’s just that easy!Parker & Son’s HVAC of Phoenix, AZ. wanted $1,150. to do the same. WHAT A RIP OFF!

Installed fairly easily and works great
My ancient furnace, which uses the B18099-06 board, started acting goofy. Most of the time, when the thermostat was calling for heat, the heat was not coming on. However the exhaust fan would come on, and once it did, it would not turn off. I was getting different error codes, mostly the '5'. After searching Google, I decided to take a chance and replace this part, since I really couldn't afford to hire an HVAC Tech. The board got to me quickly and I was able to install it pretty easily. The instructions are almost perfect. The only problem that I had with them is that six wires were not labeled on the board, and so I had to compare my old wiring diagram to the new one in order to figure out for sure where the wires went. Other than that, it was super easy to install. The new board works great. I have heat and my AC works (I live in Texas... we need both in the same day!). All in all, I am thrilled with this control board!
