My lurcher (collie/greyhound) chewed through the last cable style car restrainer he had, not a chance with this one, finally safe! Fits in the seat belt slot fine in my Skoda. Good length for large dog hasn't restricted his sitting or standing movement and not heavy for him.

We got 1 of these for are dog, he can be a hazard when in the car, trying to sit in the front or drivers seat whilst on the road and when we stop he flys out of the car, he's a shih tzu poodle mix, so a lil bigger then ur average shih tzu but I'd say under the size of a beagle (pic provided of are dog to help others for size comparison)We got the medium size for him and we were worried when it came it wouldn't be long enough but again was perfect, it's just long enough so he can stand, sit and lay down comfortably, can look out the window but isn't long enough for him to get into the front of the car or to exit the car.It's also very well made the chains we're nice and thick not flimsy at all and can survive a good tug lol, only thing we had issues with was the car clip, when we tried to plug it into the car it wouldn't work but we tried a different seat and it worked and has stayed in, so idk if 1 of are seat plugs is just broken or what but it worked out in the endAll and all very pleased with this product, would definitely recommend and buy again!!!

Secures my GSP and prevents her chewing through it like she does with the fabric ones. She tried once with this one and doesn’t even bother now. Doesn’t fit in the seat belt in my main car so that part is a waste and I use the clip to secure it to the headrest instead. It does fit into the seat belt of my classic car, but the smallest pull from the dog and it just comes out, so it can’t actually be used in there and needs to be secured with the clip to the headrest.

Works great in the car by securing to my dogs harness and clipping into seat belt. Make sure you check every single time it’s clipped in as ours became I clipped without us knowing. I think it’s because our dog sat on it when she jumped into the car. I leave it plugged in.

Perfect to stop my dog climbing through to the front of the car. Attached to headrests rather than the seatbelt clasp.

I bought this stainless steel chain specifically as it is “non chewable”! My 4 year old miniature Dachshund kept on chewing through the fabric car restraints, so I decided to buy this one, and it does what it says in the tin - it’s sturdy, secure, and chew resistant! I fix this device into the seatbelt clip of the car at one end, and attach it to my dogs harness at the other end. I now feel confident that my dog is safe in the back of my car whilst I am driving, knowing that she cannot chew through the lead. One thing I would say though is, she does try to bite through it, which is a bit of a concern as I do not want her to damage her teeth. Overall I would recommend.
