Red is my small sewing businesses signature color so when my old tape measure broke I just had to get this red one and I love it so much. It feels good in your hand and functions correctly. I lined it up with several different rulers and it is accurate even though mine came slightly deformed on the first 1/8"marking (probably from sitting weirdly in a warehouse for a long time) but it doesn't hinder my measuring capabilities. I also love that the tape is wider than others which makes the markings very clear and easy to read. I use this little gem every single day and it shows no signs of wear and tear. Also I just love retracting it as it's so quick and simple yet strong and reliable. I totally recommend this tape measure for anyone but especially sewists as it will quickly become your number 1 tool.

Good tape measurer

I like the ease of use and how handy it is to be able whip it out and measure stuff. Its very portable and i use it often. BUT the leather tip that you hold to pull it out fell off for me. I was playing with it so it’s understandable but make sure you grip it tight so when you pull, the adhesive and the end of the measuring tape doesn’t do most of the work and fall rip. I fixed mine but try not to be too rough when pulling more length.Update: Its best to not rely on the end nib at all. Only use the nib to pull a little and then just grab the measuring tape itself to pull more out.

I bought the 2 pack of these measuring tapes because I liked that they have a soft vinyl case and push retraction feature. The 120" length is much longer than most, so this is handy when measuring a piece of furniture I see & like or if I need to know if something will fit in my SUV, etc. The 60" tapes are big enough for most things, but this was a few cents more and is 10' instead of just 5'. It's a winner for my needs.

Love this compact, retractable soft measuring tape. It comes enclosed in a res leather-like round case, that is easy to read in centimeters and/ inches. Makes measuring softer surfaces, like wrists, necks and waistlines easier and more accurate than the basic measuring take you get at a hardware store.

I love the length of this tape measure compared to what I was able to find at my local stores.

It retracts easily every time. Many other brands are difficult to retract. I love this one so much I have 4 of them in the various locations in my sewing room. Shop carefully, because the different colors are not all the same exact model...
