Fixed my swollen ankle situation and my legs feel better!
I scoured hundreds of reviews for dozens of footrests to use under my desk. My general take-away was that:The plastic foot rests seemed cheaply made and were easily broken. The metal foot rests are heavy and not easily adjusted. The memory foam rests either lose their shape or don't provide enough support. When I saw that there were wooden foot rests available, I took a look at all of them. I can't believe something so straightforward and simple can make this much of a difference for my swollen feet and ankles. This thing is like a rocking chair for your feet!I can stretch and flex forward and back to keep my circulation going, and the rest has enough height to take the pressure off of my thighs. I'm 5'3" and while I can keep my feet flat on the floor, it puts a lot of stress on my lower legs to do so, and ends up feeling like I'm cutting off the blood flow right above my knees. This foot rest is what I needed. The weight capacity is 350 lbs. I'm fairly hefty (280 lbs- yeah, I know, shut up) and I stood on this bad boy and rocked back and forth just to really give it a test drive- no creaking, no cracking, nothing that made me feel like it was going to cave under my weight. Foot rest is sturdy as heck, and I wouldn't have any hesitation using this at a standing desk. Some people have complained about the construction or "assembly" of the product, but I think it looks nice, for the most part. You can see the layers of wood around the edges, but who cares? Are you getting this as a conversation piece or are you getting it as a practical tool to support your physical health? Some reviews mentioned an issue with the "runner grips" coming off of the rockers, but I haven't had a problem so far, and my order came with an extra set of runner grips (I don't think I'll need them, but it was nice that the seller threw them in).I use this rest on carpet, and like everything else that rocks back and forth, it will eventually migrate away from where you originally set it down, but it can be easily moved back to the desired position with your feet. I actually like that it moves a bit- it keeps me mindful about being physically active. I highly recommend this foot rest, especially if you are like me and are looking for ways to help improve your circulation.

Shocked on how great this is!
Just received mine today and after 10 minutes of use, I am making this review because of how great this is! I wasn't expecting much for a footrest and figured it would be like any other one. Right off the bat the things I noticed were the quality of the product. The sturdy thick wood, the nice grip tape, the rubber on the bottom so it doesn't slide and trying out the balance while standing was really cool! I'm 220lbs and stood right in the middle of the board and bounced a little just to test it and the board did not move at all. When sitting at my desk, I immediately felt a difference of comfort, and it was really nice that the rubber holds it in place so I can actually push and pull myself in/out while in my desk chair. At work the desk I have is a little higher than what is ideal, plus I have a standing desk platform that is on top so it makes it even a little higher. For me to stay ergonomically friendly while sitting, I need to have my chair the whole way up which was very uncomfortable having my feet almost hanging lol. This solved that problem and now I can sit comfortably and be in alignment! I also love the fact that I can do a little stretching and balancing while standing. I could see this being used for some quick exercises if you were at home working but I'm pretty sure I might get some weird looks if I do that here :)Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend!!!

Great product!
Great for stretching the Achilles tendon!!Very comfortable width. I can get a very deep stretch while sitting down or standing up on it.I recommend using this with footwear as using it with bare feet, It’s a bit rough. It feels like sandpaper on bare feet but slippers or other footwear works well.I highly recommended this for anyone needing a good stretch.

Great for standing on
I bought this for my desk at work because I’m short and I also constantly need to move my feet. While sitting down it constantly moves away from my feet due to my rocking it back and forth. Yes, I should know it’ll do that but I guess I was hoping it would stay in one spot with the grippy part a little better than it does. I will say that when I use my desk as a standing desk and stand on it that it’s fantastic. Overall, it’s made very sturdy, I’m 5’3” and 130lbs and I stand on it all the time. I’m still looking for a better solution to keep my feet busy while I sit.

Perfect for under my work desk
This is perfect for under my desk in my office. I can't take my shoes off, so this is sturdy enough for shoes. The rocking aspect helps so much with keeping circulation going! Plus I can stand and use it to stretch or balance. Definitely recommend.
