Does a really good job with jerky. It’s a little loud but not too bad. Easy to clean.

I like this dehydrator very much because it is very simple to use. There are only two buttons, one is on/off and the other one is to control temperature. I didn't read the manual and was able to use it without any problems. Another thing I like is that this one does not take a lot of counter space even though it has 7 trays. It fits under the cabinet perfectly. I tried apple, coconut and banana in my last two batches and they came out great. My kids love it and keep asking for more. Will try some veggie next time.

Works really well once you figure a few things out. The instruction manual is poorly written and difficult to follow. Some information is not referenced at all like the fact that if you rotate the trays they stack with more space between them. Manual says it has a 1 year warranty and 2 year warranty, which is it? It gives no contact info if you need to exercise the warranty. The trouble shooting guide is sheer comedy. I am happy with the machine itself. It works great just plan on figuring some things out yourself.

before buying the dehydrators i did some research regarding the dehydrator. This dehydrator has some of the key features I like it.1) Size ( Where you want to keep it. how much space you have it )2) Space ( It has Plenty of space. 7 Trays )3) Modifiability ( You can adjust the trays as per my needs.4) Quality ( Its BPA Free )5) Portability6) Price.

Decent product, but fantastic customer support. Mine overheated and they sent parts to fix it but when that still didn't work they sent me a whole new unit as a replacement.

Where to begin, first off, even though it’s digital it only has maybe 5 temp settings to choose from. You cannot set the temp by degree, you have to choose from the preset temps. Second, it drys horribly uneven. I just ran my first batch of jerky in it and after 2 hours, the bottom couple of trays were almost done(shouldn’t have been for another hour at least) and the meat was less and less dry as you go up each rack. To the point that the meat on the top rack was room temp at best and almost a little cold.Even though the instructions are terrible, I did however get a chuckle out of one of the pages that describes how to dry fruit. They have a chart that tells you what the outcome should be after a certain temp and time for various fruit and for cherries it says “5-26, dry core before going nuclear” haha whatever the heck that’s supposed to mean. Then for Jujube, for preparation it says “go nuclear section (or whole)” that’s it. hahaha(see pic).

Originally I bought this to dehydrate vegetables and meats. I picked it for 2 reasons.1) has manual controls should work in the event of a surge that can wipe out a lot of electronics.2) it has a 400 watt heater for a small size compared to other models.I did a trial run with a temperature probe. Max temp was 148 degrees. Great for vegetables but not hot enough for meats. Meats should be 168 or higher.If you are only doing vegetables or fruits then this unit would be fine.I will be up grading another unit shortly

I purchased this dehydrator for its large capacity. It has done a great job . I have made chicken strips, beef jerky and dried fruit. Everything has turned out great. I was concerned about the plastic trays but it turned out they are heavy duty. I love this dehydrator. The timer allows you to set it and forget it.
