Great remote, easy to pair with a canon r5 mkii and works well

Followed the well written instructions, and paired with my Sony a7iii camera. Wouldn't work! Eventually discovered on the camera menu, you need to go to next page and switch "Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl" on. Then found out the focus and the zoom didn't work. The zoom I knew about, as it will only work on electric zoom cameras, but had to fiddle about with camera settings until I found out that simply setting manual focus on the lens isn't enough, as I usually do for everyday photography, you have to set manual focus on the camera body for the focusing to work with the remote. Got it all up and running now, and pleased with this remote. Bear in mind, the focus is very slow, so the object you are photographing should be roughly focused on so that there only fine tuning to get your subject in sharp focus. Hope this helps anyone else buying this good remote.

I purchased this to work with my Canon M50. If you have never paired your camera with anything, you need to enable Bluetooth: open wireless communication settings under settings section 1. Open Bluetooth function, then open Bluetooth function on the next screen and select Remote. Go back to the previous screen and select Pairing. Pairing was a bit hit and miss but I suspect more likely to be due to the timeout for pairing not being long enough. Once done it was fine. Once it has paired, select ok and leave SetUp. To use the remote, under camera settings, select Drive mode then Self-timer:10sec/remote. None of the other settings will work with the remote. You will not get a 10 delay when using the remote, but you will if you use the shutter release.In use the remote was fine, sometimes the shutter would not fire on first press: it would only focus. Pressing again usually was successful. Thereafter, the shutter would always fire first time.In use, the shutter release can be set to instant or 2 second delay. In either mode the timer light would either flash when taken, or flash constantly during the 2 second delay.A very neat little device works well and useful.

I bought this to replace one I lost. Works perfectly. Same as the Canon one in all respects except it has a different brand name. Save your money and but this one.

Unable to get this to pair with canon Powershot SX60.

Great! Good quality, responsive and relatively easy to set up.

I bough this to do some tripod work with my Canon R7. No issues setting up, once the R7 instructions are followed too. The reason for my 4 stars, is that the battery only lasted weeks. Now this could be that the initial battery was poor or the drain is high, but until I can test over a longer period, 4 stars it is.
