These looked good and felt good in my hands. Haven't had them very long or used the crutches heavily, but I think they'll last for a long time and not disintegrate like my last set (that came with the crutches).

Use a drip of dish soap to install, and they are so much more comfortable and gripping than than flimsy standard foam grips

I am an above-knee amputee so I use my crutches every morning and evening after removing my prosthetic. I've been using crutches for 35 years. Most grips are too soft and thus deteriorate more quickly than they should. These grips are quite firm and thus should last a very long time. There was only one review when I purchased them so I took a chance but they are just what I needed. They are not worth $9 because they are just some type of foam rubber, probably worth $2 at most, but I think that about a lot of items, but what do you do when you need something. That's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.

Bought this product for my crutches

I bought these for my husband who uses crutches the majority of his day. We have yet to find a pair that the material doesn’t start shedding & leaves small piles of “crumbs” wherever he’s been. These are no exception. They did last a little longer than the previous ones. We’ve tried so many that I lost track of which ones I’ve previously bought & purchased them a second time. They are strong & comfortable for him which is why I gave it 2 stars. The material leaving tiny pieces wherever he puts them down is a dealbreaker.

They are soft and as described, but they were a little short on my elbow crutch handles. I couldn't find any with end caps either.
