Fluval C2 Hang on Power Filter

It have been using this on my 15 gallon tank and works perfectly.. No operational sound.. Have made some customizations.. Replaced Carbon with Seachem purigen and c nodes with Seachem Matrix.. Water is crystal clear and fish is healthy as ever

Product is very good. Water is cristal clear. I am using it with power head slitly modified with a layer of sponge, carbon and ceramic in 3 diffrent layer. I am not sure if it works for neutralizing ammonia as the fish odour is still there but overall it's good

Not for India as here it needs voltage converter. Overall very good quality and looked sturdy

Does the job decently.The filter is good, noiseless.2 levels of water outflow control.Works well without problems.You will need to break it down and clean it.( preferably in the water that you siphon out during water changes)If you want exact details on how this works you can watch videos in youtube as there is a lot to type.I am attaching pictures of the filter after breaking it up.I have been using this for 3 of my aquariums now. it's been 6 months and they are all fine.This has an option of slight modifications, for instance you can remove the chemical filtration bag and add more bio media in the chamber.but remember all modifications may or may not impact the working in a slight way . depending on how you modify it.adding a sponge filter along with this is a good combination.Any thing that adds more surface area basically.It's worth the investment.

The Fluval HangOn filter is a very good filter. It has a 5 stage filteration system which included 3 stage mechincal filter followed a chemical and a bilogical filter. I am using it for my 80L tank. It works on the same principle as a canister filter.It comes with activated carbon for chemical filter. I used the activated carbon for 1 month and then replaced it with seachem purigen since I don't like to use carbon in my tank.It also comes with Fluval biovac for biological filter which needs to be put in the bio box of the filter. I added seachem matrix along with the biovac.In all a must have for people who want to have good filter for there fish.
